3 Best Boarding Kennels in Colchester, UK

This Boarding kennels is brilliant, I definitely would not want to take my pomeranian anywhere else. Nice family atmosphere, lovely people, being coming here for about 3 years now. We got our dog from a breeders just before the pandemic so we could not socialise her, which has made her scared of Adults and children that she doesn't know, and other dogs as well. They have been so good with her and try and understand and play with her, they just go that extra mile. So you will definitely be in good hands if you take your pet there.

We have been using this family run kennel for many years now, and could not be happier with the way our Labrador is cared for by this lovely family. He is so happy to see them when he gets there, and obviously has a wonderful time in one of the many runs they use to exercise and play with the dogs. I would not consider any other place to look after our pet.

Took our German Shepherd here for her first (as far as we know as she is a rescue) short stay. She was very well looked after and seemed very happy. When you arrive at the kennels you cannot hear a lot of dog barking, suggesting the dogs are all happy. The owners were very caring and she Lacey is looking forward to her next stay in June. Thanks to looking after Lacey so well.

We used Hilltop for the first time this weekend for our two 10 month old very energetic pups. I am so impressed with the professionalism and kind care they gave to our pups. From the beginning they were absolutely brilliant. They listened to all my concerns with leaving my pups and discussed them when I dropped them off. Picking them up they both came out very happy and smelt lovely too, they had lovely walks and lots of cuddles from the staff . I would definitely recommend Hilltop and will absolutely be using them again. 5* doggy hotel. Thank you Hilltop Harley and Dave can’t wait to another stay.

Second time using hilltop and wouldn't use anywhere else. Very friendly and my girlies seem to be very happy here. On pick up they come back healthy and well cared for and they even gave them both a wash and shampoo so they didn't come home smelling of kennels. One of my girls had an upset tummy the day before collecting they adapted her food to help settle it and told me about this for awareness. Womt put my girls anywhere else.

My beautiful kitty boarded here, while we were away they sent photos. Spotlessly clean, very well organised and extremely friendly and helpful.

My dog Paddy was kennelled at Friars Farm 24/5 to 02/06 and I have to say that the service was first class and hassle free he came out happy and best of all he had been bathed so he smelled better than when he had first arrived. I highly recommend Friars Farm they are by far the best kennels I have experienced.

Definitely recommend this kennels. My border collie has been here a few times and is very well looked after. Both my boys are booked in for July and I know my rescue dog will be well looked after.

Had our first break away and were nervous about where to leave our 1 year old Dachshund. She was well cared for and really felt like we had left her with family! Would recommend!
