We got married at East Mersea Hall last month and words can’t describe how wonderful our day was! From our first visit right through to our day the team were all so amazing and attentive – especially Anneka who we liaised with throughout the whole process, nothing was too much to ask and her replies were always so helpful and so quick! The venue is so naturally gorgeous so it was just easy to make it look stunning on the day. We opted for a BBQ as we were wanting a more casual/relaxed day and it went down so well with our guests – the food was delicious, as were our canapes! We also wanted to have a fresh crepe van in the evening as our dessert and this was no trouble to the venue which was great as we really wanted to add this to our day. Anneka made sure our day ran smoothly and I as the bride, really didn’t have to worry or think too much on the day which made such a difference as you naturally feel nervous but Anneka took this all off my shoulders which I’m so grateful for. Our day was just what we hoped it would be and more – we don’t have any regrets which we feel is so lucky to say about our wedding – thank you so much for everything, we would recommend this venue to anyone who is hoping to have a lovely, carefree wedding day!

We recently got married at East Mersea Hall. It’s an absolutely stunning venue, and the team are incredible. Anneka made sure every detail was taken care of so for us the whole experience was stress-free. She was incredibly accommodating when we had to make last minute changes in the run up to the big day. On the day the entire team were so attentive to us, and all our guests commented on what a wonderful day they’d had and how good the food was! We had a perfect day thanks to the team.

My Husband and I, got married in May at this amazing venue. East Mersea Hall has a warm, comforting setting with a beautiful ambience to get married, with exceptional customer service and catering. We had a canape reception on the neatly cut lawn, in front of a huge, calm, relaxing beautiful lake. The Wedding and Events Manager Anneka, was a joy to work with and made sure we had the best day we possibly could have had. Thank you so much East Mersea Hall.

A little gen in Essex. We needed a short break and found Prested Hall. A lovely room with very comfortable bed, TV, chairs, desk, well stocked hospitality tray and an enormous bathroom with separate bath and shower. When you walk in you are firstly met by the smell of fresh flowers. All the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We used the pool, sauna and steam room that were included and again of a high quality. Breakfast was cooked to order as well as cereals and yoghurt etc. A good choice from full English, Veggie alternative or lighter bites! Well done! I highly recommend and will certainly visit again, and hopefully get a room with a wider view. A beautiful place!

Prested Hall is such an amazing location for any occasion! We had the pleasure of having our wedding here and everything from start to finish was made so easy for us. They were so so responsive to all queries I had and were so effortless to deal with. The staff were absolutely outstanding especially Sunny which made everything so stress-free! They made everything go so smoothly on the day and without the help of Sunny & his staff, we could not have had it better. They were just brilliant. The grounds are as pretty as a picture with a pond, bridge, swing etc. A really picture perfect place for a wedding or that special occasion. I highly recommend. Thank you again to all the staff for making our big day such a memorable one!

Fantastic wedding venue I have had the pleasure to DJ at several times. The marquee can be decorated in your own unique ways plus the indoor area which transforms in the evening ready to party. The staff make you feel welcome and friendly whilst running efficiently throughout the day.
