“Livingstone House is a not-for-profit organisation which is led by Sally Livingstone, the founder and pastor of Livingstone House. For many years, she worked with addicts, alcoholics, and their families. They offer a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation programme for men aged 18-64. Livingstone House aims to deliver a family environment where service users can access support for their addiction using a 12-step programme in conjunction with any alternative therapies that aid recovery. I came here for support with my eating disorder and was admitted to Oak ward.I can’t thank the staff there enough. From the moment I arrived, they were so lovely, supportive, and genuinely caring.They always went out of their way to make sure I was okay and treated me with kindness and respect.It was like we were all one big family.I always felt safe on the ward. A special thank you to Maddy, who went above and beyond to help me. She truly did everything in her power to support me through such a difficult time, and I can honestly say she saved my life. Her compassion and dedication meant the world to me. This place gave me the care and support I desperately needed, and I’ll always be grateful.

The staff have been very supportive and helpful with my son when he has been at one of his lowest points in his life. He has got stronger and increased his confidence and this would have not been possible without the dedicated support from the staff. From our family we just want to say thankyou.

I am a student nurse on placement on Manor Ward. I really enjoyed the experience lovely staff and patients. I received so much support and learned a lot this short period of time that if you ask me I will do it all over again.

I went into livingstone house in 2020 heavily addicted to crack and heroin homeless from the streets of birmingham with no hope and about to die due to my using i went through a 3 week detox and they made it as comfortable as possibly could be i spent 6 months before moving to sober living house, LH is a firm place to go if you are serious about getting clean , LH not only gave me hope but also gave me purpose in life after giving me the chance of becoming a keyworker their its giving me a career that I'm now for filling out in the community after working there for 2years for ever in my heart as a place that saved my life THANK YOU LH

Livingston house may well have saved my life. Its a wonderful place. I felt safe, unjudged, welcome and above all respected. There are rules to be abided by and they are strict and for bloody good reason! Every single member of staff there is a hero in my eyes. I've learned so much from the residents I lived with too. Thinking about what the staff and other residents did for me is getting me emotional as I'm typing this review. I love you guys and am eternally grateful.
