I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck. From the 1st time I spoke to Graeme on the phone in April until yesterday when we finally moved into our new home, the whole team have been fantastic. Our situation wasn't exactly straight forward as it involved storage and two long distance moves within the last 5 months but they have been with us every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with the service we got from Two Men & a Truck. Right from the start they were extremely obliging and helpful. We had a very complicated and drawn-out move due to the whole chain collapsing six months in. Graeme and his team were so patient and when we did, finally, move (which was no mean feat as we had three trucks) it took two days and five men! They were cheerful and helpful all the way through and although it took a lot longer than expected the bill was not as much extra as I had thought it would be. I would happily recommend this company to anyone looking to move. In my opinion, they went above and beyond the normal standard of what you would expect from a removal company. We moved from Gateshead to Whitley Bay on a showery afternoon! Despite the original transport not fitting in the backstreet the TMT team sent an additional truck and man to get everything moved safely and swiftly. I used this company today to transport a settee and two chairs. All I can say is WOW! The service was fantastic from beginning to end. The quote was explained to me clearly and I was reassured that they had all of the appropriate insurances in place. On the day I was contacted to confirm collection time, the two men handling the furniture were extremely professional and took great care with the furniture. Would I use this company again? Yes! Highly recommend Two Men and a Truck. From the point of booking the job, and liaising with people over phone, email, and in person - the whole process was smooth. The “Two Men” were very professional, quick, careful, and kind; and their Truck was massive, with space left over after packing my goods. They ask you to check post the load and unload to make sure that nothing is left behind, and they have a little pad of paperwork to keep everything organised for legalities and time. Couldn’t fault them - they came, finished ahead of schedule, were professional and excellent, and reasonably priced. Outstanding! Graeme went out of his way to help us at very short notice, and with a complicated move. We actually ended up paying less than the quote, as the move took less time than Graeme quoted for- I can't think of a single company who would spontaneously bill you for less. All the lads on the job were lovely, worked extremely hard, and were calm and reassuring in the midst of chaos- nothing was too much trouble.
