3 Best Removal Companies in York, UK

We booked Van Man York for 2 days to help us with our house move. One for all our garden items - we had a lot! They then came back on a different day to move the larger house items - take down and reassemble beds in new place etc. They accurately predicted what resources (one van, two trips, three men) we needed which was brilliant and on the day they were superb. Couldn't fault them - hardworking and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. And the cost was a fraction of the "big movers" although we did do a good amount of work ourselves in preparation. Big thanks to the team though :-)

Absolutely amazing guys! I was so very happy with the service that was provided. The lads that moved everything were respectful and polite, their sense of humour was great and I was very happy to have them help us move. This was a very difficult day for me and the guys that came to move my belongings were simply Amazing. They were so respectful of my furniture and all the other items that I had, taking care to move everything carefully. The day went without any problems. I would definitely recommend these guys. I will be passing their details on to my friends if they ever need to move.

The team at Jorvik removals were absolutely fantastic from start to finish with our move. Both Georgia & Melissa who we dealt with prior to removal day were lovely & very helpful despite our moving date changing and things being a bit of a pain, nothing seemed too much trouble. Andy & Abdo who carried out our removals were brilliant. They were careful, efficient & overall just really nice gents. They took no time at all clear our house, and with unloading they were always asking for our advice on where we wanted things etc, they didn’t just presume and dump things where they didn’t need to be. Of all the processes we go through during a move, they made this one the least stressful which is saying something! We couldn’t recommend them highly enough - thanks guys!

We are so impressed with the team at Jorvik Removals. Their level of service was impeccable—they were kind, considerate, and a pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond by disassembling our beds and wardrobe and reassembling them at our new home, working 12 hours straight. They were also incredibly thoughtful, working around our daughter’s additional needs and making sure her essential items were loaded onto the van last for easy access upon arrival.
