MAYCROFT MANOR CARE HOME REVIEWS

My father has been a resident at Maycroft Manor for several months now. It is a lovely modern home with very nice rooms equivalent to a good 4* hotel and excellent facilities. My dad requires considerable medical and personal attention and he is very happy with his care. I am absolutely delighted by the attention that all the staff give to my dad and the other residents. I visit a couple of times a week and Maycroft is always a warm, happy, cheerful, peaceful home. The residents are often charming and the staff are completely delightful - they enjoy working with the elderly and it shows - the residents and other families I have spoken with all say that they feel safe and well-cared for by friendly, helpful staff. There is a review below that is extremely negative and it puzzles me greatly, as it is so different from everything that I have experienced that I wonder whether the reviewer has muddled up which care home this is, or is perhaps an internet troll. I couldn't let it go unchallenged. Personally I highly recommend Maycroft as probably the best care home in Brighton and Hove.

I performed as an entertainer for the staff and residents on their 10th Anniversary. Amazing people, so welcoming, friendly and were up dancing from the start! There is a very warm feeling about the care home, a wonderful energy.

Writing this review after few weeks of visiting my nana. I have to say that the staff take care of my nana here a lot. They also motivate her to be as independent as ever.

PLACE FARM HOUSE RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME REVIEWS

This is a first class establishment that went the extra mile to offer the least restrictive environment to my mother-in-law. The staff are well trained, show outstanding care and compassion to residents, and it is clearly well managed by Karen and Andy. There is an excellent ‘vibe’ to the place. We would thoroughly recommend Place Farm House to anyone. Four legged canine friends welcome.

I worked here for 6 months and it is one of the best care home I have worked in, will miss working here! Residents are all a great bunch and the staff are such a good team!

Worked here over a year now and love working here management very supportive, good vibes round the house and residents happy and well looked after.
