First visit to Miller & Carter, the first time the wife had actually had a ‘proper’ steak and her belated birthday meal. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, it felt ‘special.’ We were served by Zikora and he was a lovely young man. Great service with a smile. Had a little banter and laugh with him - he made our first experience at M&C even better, to the point I would ask to be served by him on any future visits. Food was amazing. Steak melted in your mouth. Chips (both fries and fat chips) were amazing. Onion ‘ring’ was to die for! The bottle of red was on point and complimented the food perfectly. Definitely would go back and would recommend to anyone.

Went for the fixed price lunch menu. Great value for money, great tasting food, cooked well and presented nicely. Also great service by Zikora who was extremely polite, professional and gave service with a smile! We will come again.

We got served by a very nice gentleman, Zikora. He greeted us very pleasantly and looked after us well. He gave some great recommendations on our food, he kept checking in on us to see if everything was okay. We ordered a sharing board and it was absolutely delicious, we were able to taste the different steaks and also bone marrow! The berry spritz cocktail was also very nice to have on a hot day. We ordered a chocolate brownie and a creme brulee, both were just perfect! Our overall experience was really nice and it was definitely due to Zikoras service. Thank you.

First time being here - lovely atmosphere and customer service. Ordered a steak, sweet potato fries, prawns with garlic bread, and some chicken, all of which were super delicious. On the downside, portion sizes are very small for the price, but nevertheless would still recommend as the food is delicious.

Melt in the mouth steak. Delicious sides. Amazing attentive service. Central location. Plenty of seats on our evening visit this last week of June. We had booked, but it was not necessary.

Excellent food our first time here visiting our daughter….. we did not make a booking and the restaurant was full the manager found us a table…. We started off with cocktails which are fab then enjoyed a range of starters and then on to mains the steaks were cooked to perfection…… the vibe and atmosphere of this place is perfect Thankyou so much to Eden and the team for looking after us we will be back.

We had a lovely meal here celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. The table was beautifully decorated. The service throughout was very good & the food was amazing! We have been here many times & I always have the steak. It is cooked to perfection & just melts in my mouth. We received a complimentary sorbet on a decorated plate also. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Celebrated my birthday here, honestly can’t compliment the staff enough, so friendly and welcoming! They were so kind to decorate the table themselves beforehand. Can rave on and on about the steak, one of the bests in Notts. Tender and smooth to cut, well seasoned and perfectly cooked how I’d asked. Enjoyed the salmon fillet as well although the steak was the showstopper. The gave us complimentary sorbet in the end as well. The only constructive criticism I’d have is that for a place this famous, world famous chef and stuff, I think the decor could’ve been better.

Wonderful stake house. Service been great and lovely staff attended us. Food was perfect, got our stakes correct with our rare orders. Desert was gorgeous to top it off!! Whats pretty interesting you can choose your stake knife and they all different.
