Absolutely amazing Japanese food, truly authentic cuisine. It has an excellent menu with an extensive range of dishes both hot and cold, the seaweed is really nice, as is the fresh salmon and prawn tampuri. The restaurant offers an all you can eat option and a half price a la carte menu, which has a wider range of options. Both fantastic value for money

Much better quality food than the one in Cambridge. Not sure how they do it but fish seems fresher and overall better taste. We tried many times both and every time Nottingham was much better.

Before 9pm, all you can eat menu is pretty decent. Food is pretty good quality for under £30 per person. You need 2 people minimum. Food comes pretty fast too.

100% recommend Bonsai, service excellent and really friendly. Nice comfortable surroundings, really good value for this level of food. My daughter had been before and suggested it, glad she did because the sashimi was about the best thing I have ever eaten (seriously) and the miso soup was the best I have had. The only problem is there’s so much I want to try on the menu that I’m going to be in there far too often now.

Yesterday I've took a trip from from Lincoln to see your place and celebrate my birthday. Food was amazing, young lady and young gentleman at the front very welcoming and friendly. Strongly recommend lunch set. Be careful with ordering extra starters as portions are VERY generous! If you can not eat all - ask for a takeaway - they will provide containers.

Went for lunch with my friend to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing! Sushi was devine, we ordered 3 different types of Futomaki and some edamame beans and it was just perfect. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Absolutely delicious.
