TOP 3 B+B EDINBURGH REVIEWS

If you are looking for history and old world atmosphere, this is your place. The location is great, in a quiet area of Edinburg, next to Dean Village. About a 20 minute walk Princes St and the busier area. They have a beautiful lounge/bar area off the lobby, but even better is the Library on the 1st floor. Two stories of books, set in wood shelving. Just gorgeous. Excellent service from start to finish. Would LOVE to go back!

We were lucky enough to get a room on the top floor which had the most beautiful view we’ve seen in a long time. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern. Very comfortable bed.

Had a beautiful room and service was outstanding. They served an excellent continental and hot breakfast everyday. Very happy with the price and location.

Bus from the airport takes you to only a short walk to the hotel. Amazing location. All the major sites are within walking distance. Central area, very beautiful and vibey with all the nice restaurants and bars around. Also had the best sleep! The room itself is clean, well decorated and modern vintage. Really fitting for the historic city. Would highly recommend. Also like the 'no keys needed' as you carry a code for the doors. Very nice that you can store your luggage away on check out to still make the most of the day without carrying a heavy load.

I was very pleased with my experience here. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved that the bathroom had a heated towel rack, the water pressure and temperature was perfect too. I communicated only via email with the staff. However, they were very helpful and prompt in all of the communication. Highly recommend staying here! It's a quick walk to the royal mile, museums and the city center.

Very central location in a spacious room for 3. Clean and comfortable beds with kettle, air circulation, tv, iron and a light and airy ensuite. Our second stay there and not disappointed. Only comments for improvement would be second bedside light and additional bar plug. A supply of Tunnocks wafer bars every day would be sooo good.

Our stay here was so comfy. We loved the homily feel of the accommodation, it’s proximity to the city center was excellent and in a beautifully quiet part of town. The evening songs and stories really added to the charm of Aberon House and we are so thankful for experiencing this tradition with the owner and fellow guests. Breakfast was a continental style.

Very nice and clean room, located in the city center with easy access to all attraction places.We stayed three days there; they're cleaning the room every day, and we had a nice breakfast. The owner of the house is good at promoting and playing Scottish music every evening.

We three friends stayed 3 nights at this guest house and had a wonderful stay with complimentary breakfast.Owner himself is promoting and playing Scottish music in this guest house. Really enjoyed our stay here.
