3 Best Wedding Venues in Edinburgh, UK

This is a beautiful property where we stayed for a family wedding being held here. We were from Canada and found, from our first arrival to the checkout, everything was absolutely perfect. The decor inside the Castle was an interesting, lovely eclectic mix of traditional and modern. Our room in the Stables area, a short distance from the main Castle, was spotless, modern and very comfortable. The appetizers, cocktails, dinner and breakfast were all delicious with every detail looked after. Would definitely return and recommend this as a destination spot for a wedding or other large gathering for special occasions.

We had the most amazing day getting married at Carlowrie. The venue is absolutely stunning - many of our guests were travelling from Canada and were blown away by the castle and grounds. The food and drinks were excellent and most of all, the service was outstanding. The day of team with Ronan and Ailsa were fantastic and everything ran so smoothly - we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day! We also had Richard MC’ing our event and he was excellent - and couldn’t have been more helpful with keeping our guests organized and in the right place at the right times. Planning our wedding from outside of the country was truly a breeze thanks to Jen and the team. Thanks to the incredible team for the perfect wedding day!

I’m lucky enough to be a regular visitor to Carlowrie as a wedding and event supplier. The castle itself is the most unique venue I have the pleasure of working at. The attention to detail is impeccable throughout the venue from the decor, the beautiful well kept grounds, the meals, to the service from staff. Every member of the team is friendly, welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. I’ve witnessed so many beautiful weddings and celebrations at Carlowrie, all completely unique, and the team are always on the ball with every detail making each special occasion seamless and perfect. Oh and I can’t forget to mention the Highland cows!

Came here with a group of 10 and they had a great semi-private room for us, the food and service was very good. I ordered the Scottish Sea Trout and I would recommend - it was a bit over salted but still really good - maybe just tell them to go easy on the salt! My favorite part of the dinner was watching the bartender meticulously prepare my Negroni cocktail - highly recommend that for the experience and the taste!

5/5. Had an excellent dining experience here! The food was fantastic, especially the fish and chips, and the pie was delicious. We also enjoyed the olives as a starter. The service was good, making the overall experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Went there for dinner, got the lamb, haggis and some whiskey and sticky toffee pudding, experience was great! Bagpiper playing a tune every so often, tourist friendly 100%. Food was great and delicious, and the service was great!
