BROWNS REVIEWS
My wife already commented it ! but I add my comments... Beautiful building, decoration, clean, cosy.. there was a big group behind us, but the noise level was acceptable. It was the birthday of my stepson and i put a note on the web. I asked if it was possible to add a candle.. as it was not, they brought a plate wit "happy b-day" written on it, with toffee sauce and strawberries. The staff was great... thanks for the moment.
Restaurant is housed in the old post office building which my friend worked in years ago, so great memories of it, today is got a great feel to the restaurant and the food was just wonderful as were the cocktails! Our server Holly was lovely and attentive and all other staff we interacted with were also polite. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Glasgow.
We had the opportunity to witness the staff handling an unexpected situation when the fire alarm went off. Everyone was swiftly evacuated while the situation was dealt with and, upon returning to our seats, plates that had only just been delivered to the table when the alarm sounded were whisked away and quickly replaced with freshly cooked meals. Friendly, efficient and professional. Thoroughly recommended.

THE IVY REVIEWS
Had a reservation for a birthday dinner. Received appetizers before our 2 cocktails, and had to remind our server of the drinks before they finally arrived about 30 minutes after ordering. One drink was completely wrong (old fashioned instead of gin fizz.) Food was just as excellent as the atmosphere!! The mix of Asian cuisine is such a tasty treat!
I had a fantastic meal in the Ivy recently. The food was well prepared and looked really appetising. The service is first class. As it was my wife's birthday they gave her a complimentary desert with a happy birthday message.
As a walk in we were given a table for 1 hour 15 minutes. I would suggest booking a table in advance however. All the staff were attentive and friendly without being too intrusive. The food was top notch and despite us having the table for only 1 hour 15 minutes, we were never made to feel like we were being rushed. The atmosphere was great and the decor is lovely.
