CRABSHAKK REVIEWS
We didn’t have reservations and their only big table for 4 is already booked for later. The server was accommodative enough to let us dine-in for an hour. That suited us just fine and we polished off everything really quickly.. because the food was so delicious! The Crab cake has to be my #1 choice - with just the right amount of crab, lemon flavor and condiments resulting in a nice savory balance. Next is their seasonal special spicy fish stew with paprika. This has a lot of heat but in a nice way. Every one of us loved this!
Great place for seafood and a few glasses of bubbles on the main strip of Finneston. I had oysters, crab cakes, fried squid, scallops and the mussels. All were memorable. The scallops were soft and flavourful. I had both the natural and anchovy butter. I suggest the anchovy butter. Service was good and the place had a cosy feel with a nautical theme. Highly recommend.
Excellent place if you're craving quality seafood. Their menu is small but they usually have quite a few options on their specials menu which are well worth considering. The Linguine Vongole was beautiful, buttery and garlicky. The squid tempura is exquisite, lightest batter ever. It's a small restaurant with most tables in a mezzanine level, so not ideal for groups of 4 or more but really cosy for a date!

GAMBA REVIEWS
It's no surprise that Gamba's food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. My wife and I have visited a number of times and have always been really impressed. Our visit last week was no different. If you enjoy seafood and really want to treat yourself to a first rate fine dining experience, then Gamba is the place to go. We had oysters to start which were incredible and prepared simply and beautifully. The fish soup with prawn dumplings was outstanding and the mains were even better. My wife had lobster and I had surf and turf which was a fillet of beef cooked PERFECTLY with king prawns, a scallop and truffle mash potato. Highly recommended.
Lovely quaint, little restaurant, I was there for lunch, very tastey food, which was well presented. I had food off the set menu & glass of house white included in the price. Waiters couldn't do enough, in fact went out of their way to get us gluten free bread rolls as my friend was on special diet. Will definitely be back. Thoroughly delicious food.
Loved the food. Really tasty fish soup to start. Sea bream was excellent. Good choice of wines to accompany our meal. Pleasant setting and friendly staff. Keen to get back again soon.

THE FINNIESTON REVIEWS
I really liked this place. It's nice, cosy and well decorated on the inside. The food was very well presented and most importantly was delicious. I tried the gnocchi and I have to say it was something else, would highly recommend. Shrimp Mac n cheese was average. The staff were delightful and made the whole experience better. Great stuff. Given the prices though I would expect nothing less - it's all rather expensive.
I only had a few drinks in the bar but the staff were very friendly, consistently pouring me a wonderful pint of Guinness. The deputy manager was highly attentive. The interior is absolutely stunning. The place is very clean. Overall I rather enjoyed myself in there and left feeling rather drunk. It seems they did their job.
Came here one evening to have a couple of drinks, it is very welcoming and the staff are lovely, you are given a glass of water when you sit down with a drinks menu with every drink you can possibly think of, the music is great and it has a lovely atmosphere. We didn't have the food but what we did see of the food looked lovely.
