TOP 3 THE IVY OXFORD BRASSERIE REVIEWS

Just out for the day , and looking for somewhere to eat , when we came across The Ivy in Oxford , went in to ask for a table and , said we did not book a table , was told that they have a table for us . We were seen by Zoltan he was great and got our drinks and food , he is fantastic , he needs a pay rise, and made our day there really great as we were celebrating our 50th anniversary, loved the funky decor, a big thanks to all the staff and a very bit thanks to Zoltan , hope to see you one day .

A very good quality experience. We booked late but nothing was a problem. It was a busy, atmospheric evening, and the waiting staff were efficient, polite, and fun. For dessert, the chocolate bombe is highly recommended; delicious.

Bright and colourful restaurant with fantastic food: the sourdough bread was some of the best we have ever had and both fish we ordered were fresh and tasty. Would come back to Oxford just to dine here.

I really enjoyed my recent visit to Browns! The food was fantastic, well presented and delicious. We had a very friendly and attentive waiter Alberto; many thanks to him for making our visit comfortable. Cocktails were smooth and moreish. The restaurant was quiet when I arrived but soon filled out and the atmosphere was very relaxing, not too loud. The room was tastefully decorated and light which made for a pleasant experience. I’d like to go back and try out more of the menu!

My partner took me to Browns Oxford for my birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. Our server Aurelia was fantastic, super friendly and very attentive without it feeling too much; checking all was okay with our meal and topping up our drinks at the perfect moments. The food was delicious and presented with such care. We will definitely be back!

Loved it. The food was amazing. It had been around 35 years since my previous visit. I used to come for dinner when I was in 6th form and lived near Abingdon. A lifetime ago. Amazing to return for Oxford's May Day celebrations with Tim. Nicely done, Browns!

Last night, my wife and I had a delightful dining experience at No.1 Ship Street in Oxford. The restaurant exudes a romantic ambiance with its dim lighting, making it perfect for an intimate evening. We were particularly impressed with the seafood, which was fresh and flavorful, and the snails were a standout dish. The extensive variety of cocktails and drinks added to the enjoyment of our meal. Located conveniently in the heart of Oxford, No.1 Ship Street is a posh spot.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team for an amazing experience and a great way to end my graduation day! Amazing food and service, and I would definitely recommend the lobster! While a little more expensive than some restaurants I've been to, it's definitely worth the price.

Went here for a graduation dinner and they made it such a wonderful experience! My sister and I had the mussels - absolutely delicious and the fries were splendid. Equally recommend the octopus and the soup.
