POSH FISH REVIEWS

I love this place. The staff are the highlight of this place personally for me. They care about each customer and are very attentive. All the food I have tried so far was always delicious and portions are very generous. The place is always sparkling clean. Definitely one of the best places in Oxford.

Ordered on line for collection, food was ready when we arrived, staff super helpful and even carried to car (large order). Portion sizes are very generous, small portion is probably the size of other shops large portions, one portion of regular chips was enough for 2, fish well cooked and tasty.

This place was absolutely lovely—delicious, flaky fish, crisp batter, hot chips, savory curry sauce and deeply satisfying mushy peas! One of the few places in Oxford I walked away from truly content and happy. Also, the staff was really warm and kind. I’m looking forward to visiting again.

Stopped off whilst passing through Oxford. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and appeared to know his regulars by name. We ordered the fish and chips which was absolutely delicious. The batter was light and crispy covering a sizeable fluffy Cod. The chips were cooked to perfection. Overall very tasty and would recommend.

The queue out the door speaks for itself, super friendly guy on the counter, all freshly cooked and tasting great. Get your fish and chips here, amigos.

We always love our fish and chips from Oxford fish shop. Portion sizes are great, fish is meaty with just the right amount of crispy batter. we are very happy and extremely full right now! Omnomnom.

Very reasonable prices. Huge portions. Even their small chips is very large. And the large haddock is enormous. I particularly liked their onion rings and scampi. Very popular place, and with good reason. I knew it's a takeaway but there are seats inside. There is a click and collect option as well in which you can order ahead. This is a great idea- if feasible- because the prices in the restaurant are much cheaper than on Deliveroo.

Probably one of the best place if not the best, in Oxford area where you can sit down and have a really nice fish and chips. Ordered the haddock fish and it was prepared on the spot and served nice and hot! Do try the grilled chicken. Really nice also.

Amazing food and service! Best fish and chip shop in Oxford. Not only, but other items on menu such as chicken wrap, kebab/meat dishes, and jacket potatoes are superbly prepared, too. They serve generous amount, and very fairly priced. We are regular customers and love this place. If you are craving for a good meal, look no further.
