TEASHOP BY THE CANAL REVIEWS
A complete cutesy joyful experience every time I come here! If you want to escape into a rose-filled Alice in Wonderland meets country garden tea room with a delightfully restful position on the side of the canal - well this is the ideal place to visit!! Amazing cakes, schi-schi eclectic old fashioned floral China, beautifully presented bacon sandwiches and offering champagne afternoon teas this is an deal place to visit - escape - and relax. If raining, there’s room inside where the experience is all around you! It is close to the main road so slight hum of traffic but just focus on the view of swans on the canal and it will soon Zen out! A destination site - please visit!
Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Was happy to discover they had vegan options!! I had an iced latte with soya milk and a raspberry almond and orange cake and it was delish!! We sat outside and honestly I could've stayed there all day .
Such a cute place! We had the afternoon tea for 3 persons and it was just lovely. A good variation of savoury and sweet, there were sandwiches, cakes, scones, it was amazing! The staff was also really nice. Would defenitely recommend!

THE FLOWER POT CAFE REVIEWS
LOVED this charming little place! Not many of these non-chain, independent places left it’s so special to come across one. Obviously a lot of love, care and thought has gone into this place. The food was fabulous as was the friendly service. Loved the china, the flowers and the whole ambience of the place. We shall be back!
Small cafe with a lot of charm and appeal. Staff are extremely friendly. Food is Terrific and lovely place to sit out side to eat or drink or both, they also provide outside parasols over tables. Limited seating inside. Great selection of food on menu & they do specials. Prices very good too.
Really lovely small independent cafe in Newbury. Food was ace and we thought prices were extremely reasonable for what we had. Lovely coffee and cooked breakfast. Staff and welcoming and warm. We will definitely be back regularly.

COFFEE#1 REVIEWS
Very pleasant place for coffee and catchup with friends! Highly recommend the cheese & tomato toasties - I think they are sundried tomatoes which makes a tasty difference. Worth asking for coffee to be "hot" as there is an adjustment they can make to the machine.
Wonderful coffee shop with delicious cakes too at competitive prices. We also enjoyed the old world atmosphere too with some antique style chairs! Recommended for quiet relaxation & people watching!
We had the mushroom and emmental toasties, victoria sponge slice and the carrot cake - would recommend all of these - delicious! Decor was lovely too (love the fireplace at the back!) Would lunch here again.
