THE SUSHI MAKI REVIEWS

I lived and worked in Japan. This is 100 miles from the sea and is the closest to a Japanese restaurant outside London. The rice in sushi is pretty close to the real thing, which is surprising as that is the most important part of sushi experience. I don't expect real wasabi in the UK but the hamachi and butter fish sashimi were just good. Sushi was the best I've had in the UK outside London.

Loving the new menu. The chirashi poke bowl is my usual go-to when dining alone -- generous and delicious! My favourites for sharing are the Full Dragon sushi roll and Spicy Crunchy Octopus. For my recent visit, I decided to try something different and went for the Eel Teriyaki Donburi and was not disappointed. Generous portions of eel on well cooked rice, and the pickled daikon balances out the sweet teriyaki very well.

This is my absolute favorite spot for a light, simple, and delicious meal. Whether dining in or opting for takeaway, this place consistently delivers quality and satisfaction. My little one adores it too, especially the kids' meals which are excellent value for money. The staff here are simply amazing, always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delightful and affordable dining experience!

I can really recommend Arigato, the food was fantastic we really enjoyed it. The staff were all very friendly. The setting is cute right by a little courtyard in Newbury. Food was all very well priced but the drinks are maybe a little more than I would have expected, but appreciate that the place has to make money. Probably could have added the extra couple of pounds onto the food and I wouldn't have noticed.

It's lovely to see that Arigato has returned. Tried the Chashu pork ramen, which was full of fantastically soft pork belly, and the pork cutlet poke bowl. Both were wonderful and full of flavour. Highly recommended.

Fantastic lunch for two. We had the sharing platter which was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Friendly staff, comfy chairs, and relaxing atmosphere.

Great selection of food I've almost tried everything on the menu. The staff are also friendly and nice, it's perfect for lunchtime meals. Highly recommend the mix & match sweet chilli chicken and sweet & sour chicken with either rice or noodles.

I have been few days ago and I ordered a take out. I had chicken katsu curry and sweet and spicy chicken both with rice. Both were delicious, the best I ve ever tried. Highly recommend and definitely go back again. Don't hesitate to try.

They server Halal chicken. We had noodles with Sweet Chilli chicken and sweet'n sour chicken. Both tasted amazing and it was great experience.
