TURKUAZ RESTAURANT & BAR REVIEWS

Fantastic food, excellent service and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. It excels by the fact that the food has a homemade flavour, and the house lemonade is absolutely delicious! Starters came very quickly and were delicious. The hummus was absolutely amazing and I was told it's made in house - not from a commercial tub. We were also impressed with the falafels: flavour and texture was perfect! And the baklava... Ah! What a perfect end for the meal. Portions are good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A place to return many times.

Absolutely filled to the brim, to the point it's hurting! So good. I'd heard good reviews about Turkuaz and it being family run but got to experience it for the first time this evening, and will definitely be returning. Lovely food and energetic waiters. The only downside was that I ate too much, and that's all my own fault! Also, 10/10 for the Turkish red wine. I'd never tried Turkish wine before.

It is an excellent Turkish dining experience, the food was perfect, service superb and atmosphere and ambiance excellent. The Turkish wines were very nice. Will definitely come back!

LEBANESE HOUSE REVIEWS

One of the best places to eat out in Newbury, we don't go out much, but when we go, we always hope that's gonna be a good place and this it was amazing! Really good fresh food, all made to order. Amazing flavours, big portions priced correctly. We had meze for 2 in 4 of us which was more then enough so we can enjoy mains and puds also. Mains exceeded our expectation and deserts outrages(so nice to see something specific and not just copy paste like in most of restaurant arround just put some deserts on to make sure they have that option). Pics added have a look for yourselves. Puds recommend the semolina pud and the house biscuit with chocolate.

A very pleasant evening in Newbury - the weather superb. The service too at Lebanese House. My mains was a little heavy - too much yoghurt and not enough kebab in the mix (Fetat Lamb). However we shall return - ideal outdoor seating that is child and dog friendly. It felt very Mediterranean this evening and quite popular with the locals.

We were only in Newbury for a night on our way home and were hungry. Walked past this place and thought that looks something different. Wow what a find the food was some of the nicest we’ve had eating out! Meat so soft and tender it melts in your mouth!

Fantastic little place but the name is a little confusing as it made me think it was mainly a quick eat/take away place which you can get take away but the restaurant is very worth the visit. Really delicious freshly prepared food. The aubergine mezze was to die for and the meat platter perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back again.

Lovely chill spot. Definitely planning to go back soon. The host was a cheerful and welcoming. Served us fresh food of the grill still sizzling. The meat was soft and tender, amazing bread and we even got treated to a very nice tomato sauce/dip on the house, right amount of sweet and a little touch of spicy. Definitely recommend

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Rather than the standards, we went for the Turkish street food and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to my next visit already!
