“Crichton Memorial Church was built from Locharbriggs using local red sandstone for the outside and Thornhill pink sandstone for the inside. The floor features white Sicilian marble and spectacular geomantic red, green, and black Connemara marble designs. Crichton Memorial Church features a nave, chancel, and transepts. The church's first service took place with Elizabeth Crichton's prayer of dedication, which was read to the congregation. Crichton Memorial Church is familiar with regular services and is a popular venue for weddings, concerts, and other events. The Church provides a place of worship and community for members of a particular faith.”
