My mum suffered a fall on Sunday 5 May and was admitted to hospital in the early hours of Monday 6 May. The Home Instead carers were able to change their home visits to hospital visits and helping with feeding and personal care as there weren't enough NHS staff to help with this. My mum certainly appreciated their support. After a 12-day stay, Mum was discharged from hospital at very short notice on Friday 17 May. The Home Instead Team were able to assess Mum and get the home visits reinstated very quickly and were also instrumental in getting a hospital bed, commode and chair provided by the GP/Occupational Health. My Mum has been a client of Home Instead for many years. She has a regular team of carers who she knows well and trusts. They provide excellent care and companionship. They've certainly made things easier for my brother who lives with my Mum.

Home Instead provide excellent, friendly support to my mum which in turn gives me peace of mind. We value the help with housekeeping and the companionship provided. Mum has built strong relationships with the team of carers.

Bluebird Care carers are attentive to my mum's needs and very patient too. I also appreciate their flexibility; my mum, who has dementia, was recently moved without warning into a care home for assessment, Bluebird communicated with the care home's manager to arrange access to my mum; having been moved from her own home, my mum is currently unsettled but welcomes the Bluebird carers' visits.

I have dealt with many carers/companies over the last eight years or so but I can honestly say, Bluebird Care are head and shoulders above the rest! They really care for their clients, they go above and beyond to ensure their clients are well cared for, are enabled to enjoy their lives within the restrictions they have. I was visiting my friend while the carer came, she was so lovely and very caring towards my friend as well as professional. She was very thorough and I could tell my friend felt at ease with her, she was polite and very patient.
