I found Sparkling Flues on google, looking for someone local and preferably female led (and they ticked both boxes!). The online form was easy to fill out and I got a quick email response within 24 hours. I was given appointment options which was helpful when working full time. Emma arrived within the slotted appointment time and worked quickly and left no mess at all. She gave me advice on the findings from the chimney sweep and recommended cleaning products and a stove thermometer which has made life much easier as a newbie wood burner owner! I was very happy with the service and will be using them again for my annual sweep next year.

I’ve used Sparkling Flues for three years now. Always reliable, clean and tidy. Puts your mind at rest that the log burners are safe. Highly recommended. Martin, Didsbury.

Jimmy does a cracking job, had him a couple of times to sweep our chimney and he leaves everything spotless, the cleanest our burner looks all year! Also just a great guy, honest, friendly and a pleasure to have around, very knowledgable about fires. Thanks Jimmy.

All I can say is absolutely brilliant first time we have used Jimmy but will use again, he knows the job inside out, he’s very friendly and he left no mess at all I have been so anxious about having the chimney swept thinking it would be messy but it wasn’t, can’t recommend enough.

Jimmy was absolutely brilliant. Arrived on time, did a fantastic job and was such a lovely guy. His prices are so reasonable you will struggle to find anyone as competitive. I will definitely be recommending him to my family and friends.

Very happy with the service Steve provided. He explained everything thourally and gave me some great advice on positioning carbon monoxide monitors and also best ways to store wood. He was on time and very friendly. A great experience, I would highly recommend! Thanks Steve.

Steve very kindly fit us in at short notice so that we could get our fire fitted. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and clean and tidy. He advised us on things to look out for going forward and gave us lots of extra information. I'd 100% recommend to anyone looking for a sweep.

I can't recommend Steve enough. We'd recently moved into a new home when I booked Steve to come and perform a standard sweep. Steve went over and above to advise us of potential issues with our installation and what needed to be done to make it safe.
