BELFAST CASTLE REVIEWS
This is a beautiful place set on a elevated site with breath taking views over Belfast. Camera, Comfortable shoes and water bottle would be highly recommend. There is a restaurant booking may be required. Plenty of parking and picnic areas are all around. Kickback and enjoy...
Magical! Beautiful! Impressive! Unfortunately we went when they were closing and didn't have much time to explore. But we did enjoy a walk along the paths of Cave Hill Country Park. Beautiful views, you feel like the master of the world.
Free to enter. Beautiful castle with super views over Belfast City and surrounding areas. Lovely gardens and extended grounds with nature trials of differing lengths.

CRUMLIN ROAD GAOL REVIEWS
We went to see a Johnny Cash Tribute act here . Was absolutely amazing. Only gripe was there wasn't enough chairs for our group to all sit together. ( Our own fault I suppose for not arriving earlier ) . Done the whole tour thing at another time. It was very good too , a lot of history and information told by the guide. Only the paranormal fright night to do but don't feel brave enough lol .
Crumlin Rd Gaol Tour! If you are ever in Belfast make sure you tour the Crumlin Road Gaol. There is so much history to be revealed there and the tour is very interactive. You can easily spend half a day with the family at this location. Belfast itself is very enjoyable with lots of shopping and lovely architecture.
Good quality educational venue. The use of an old prison to explain the history of northern ireland to all generations is well presented. The parking for the visit was free and entry price was reduced with online booking. There are toilets, gift shop and food outlet on site.

BELFAST CITY HALL REVIEWS
Centrally located in downtown, this is a building worth admiring thanks to its design and monumental size. The entrance is free to the exhibition downstairs but I learned that there are free guided tours as well. It was definitely interesting to learn about the history of home rule and about iconic Irish individuals throughout modern history. Make sure to visit the Titanic memorial which is just outside the building.
There was a exhibit put on when I visited about the history of building, the people of Belfast, and the vision of the town. The entire exhibit was a delightful experience learning. There is a cafe inside of city hall that supports people with autism. The food was delicious that I ordered from the cafe. I had the tomato soup and bread with butter. The building is kept up with and the grounds is well maintained. The employees of Belfast City Hall were all knowledgeable and helpful in my experience.
It's a lovely building - go inside and see for yourself! The staff are very helpful too. On a clear sunny day you can do a lot worse than sit in the grounds and watch the world go by. I highly recommend the marble masterpiece inside. Also on a warm day it is always beautifully cool and pleasant inside.
