ORMEAU PARK REVIEWS
A lovely park, great to have a walk. There are plenty of benches if you need a rest. There is a coffee truck near the Ormeau Road gates. There are two play areas, the Park Road one has recently been completely refurbished. The Ravenhill Road play area is particularly suitable for pre-school children. We have brought our two year old granddaughter here several times, to both play areas, and also just to have a walk. A great park for dog walkers as well.
Great park on the banks of the Lagan river offering lots to do for the family. There are walks, bowling green, BMX track, indoor tennis and bowling, basketball courts, and play areas for smaller children. And free parking. It’s open from early until late. It’s easily accessible from all parts of Belfast. It’s also the venue for Belsonic which is held there every year in June.
A beautiful sight for great pictures and picnic with family and friends. We laughed, danced and took long walks while basking under the sun and hiding under the trees. Pet friendly too and it has got bicycles you can rent to drive round the park. I am visiting soon again.

Perfect for a stroll, especially around the Rose Garden. The gardens are vast with plenty of open areas, where kids can play, or there are a host of paved paths. The reason we visited though was for the Rose Garden, which are sublime and just coming in to bloom.
