The park hosts a Rose garden, a skate park, sports facilities such as tennis, cricket, and other outdoor activities, a boat pond, and a lily pond where fish can be seen. The park has plenty of spaces to walk dogs safely. Eaton Park has bowling greens, open lawned areas, and sports pitches. At Eaton Park, the miniature railway comprises the original elevated track and a longer ground-level trail running through a beautiful meadow. There is a basketball court in the multi-use games space beside the Community Centre.

2025 Update: Eaton Park has provided the facility for car parking. Season tickets are now available for purchase.”

Always a beautiful and stunningly tranquil park. Most recently it’s where my son and I have spent our quality days together when he isn’t attending nursery. With the play park offering a high range of activities, the often musically occupied band stand, the calming water ponds, mini golf courses & miniature trains…it helps make a ton of wonderful family memories. Highly recommended.

This is a great park to go to with young children, it is large enough for plenty of running/biking around but not too big that you feel worried. There is a great playground that recently got upgraded with new equipment and has a very large sand area. For adults there is also a great cafe with food and coffee/cakes and during some parts of the year, the miniature railway is running which is great fun.

What a stunning park. Lovely gardens and a brilliant cafe in the centre. Well worth a visit especially in spring as there are flowering Cherry trees around the water fountain that must look amazing but we were there in June and missed it.

WHITLINGHAM COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS

Nice end to the busy weekend. Lovely stroll round the lake. Great place to take the dogs for a long walk somewhere new for them. Paths are great under foot and all litter free. There are plenty of dog poo bins so no need to leave it. Plenty of signage dotted around all with the what three words location, so if you do get into any trouble, the services will find you with ease. Paid parking but not a great amount.

Great place for a walk or if you want water sports/ cycle trails. Toilets at the cafe car park were new looking and there was an accessible toilet. You can pay for a car park ticket easily with an app or at the machine and drive to other car parks here. Paths were great for younger children and pushchairs. Cafe had a range of cakes and hot drinks. Lots of picnic space too.

A lovely, relaxing place to walk. Popular with dog walkers (& dog lovers). Free roadside parking for those who don't mingle the extra walk, or pay & display parking. Wheelchair accessible & benches dotted round the lake.

WATERLOO PARK REVIEWS

Lovely park for all, good experiences with other dogs and owners… cafe has a good atmosphere, friendly and inviting. Dog friendly, excellent place to start socialising a small puppy. Good coffee and amazing scones. Hot sausage roll was top notch too, prices may seem a little high but it’s a charity so can stomach the extra as it’s for a good cause and as quality so good it’s worth it.

Lovely park with a great spacious, enclosed playground for the kids. Playground has several swings, a pirate ship with slide, another climbing frame with slide, seesaws, roundabout, plenty of sand. Lots of open green areas to relax, have a picnic, etc. Pretty walk throughs and plenty of trees and flowers all around. Car park off Angel Road. Public toilets.

This is a lovely place to walk, also good for walking your dogs. The cafe is dog friendly too. There are different routes you can walk around. It has a free car park and a closed off kiddies play area. So great fun for all.
