Great local pub and restaurant with incredibly friendly & laid back atmosphere + regular good live music sessions. Does a good food menu everyday and proper roast dinners on Sundays. Open & serving alcohol till late as they have a 24hr license.
Great pub in a nice setting in the centre of Gloucester, yet still has a secluded feel to it, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Nice atmosphere with live music. Great choice of drinks. Food quality is fantastic. Many thanks.

BREWHOUSE AND KITCHEN REVIEWS
Eating out as a solo traveller can sometimes make you feel awkward, not so here. Very relaxed atmosphere, great service from Charlotte and the burger and fries were delicious. Served quickly and the Monday offer made my dinner a bargain. Plenty of choice on the beers, something for everyone. Highly recommend.
Went for a Beer Masterclass with a small group, where our host Marcus made us feel welcome and provided an endless source of beer related information. No script was followed and we all had a great time with some fantastic beers. The food provided was fairly decent, but nothing to write home about. This still didn't ruin a fun and enjoyable day though!
Comprehensive menu, good food, efficient and friendly service. Only downside, adding service charges to bills . This is a presumption that I will be satisfied. I never give tips through my bank account, I reward service as I find it. Parking: Multi-storey not too far away, free for disabled badge holders.

The Fountain Inn is a classic pub boasting a diverse selection of real ales and delectable pub fare. The Fountain Inn stands as one of Gloucester's oldest sites associated with the brewing trade. During the time of Henry III, it was owned by Peter Poitevin, likely the bishop who ceremoniously crowned the young King at St Peter's Abbey (now the Cathedral) in 1216. With a reputation for excellent food, welcoming staff, and a comfortable ambience, The Fountain is an ideal spot for those seeking a truly great pint, a juicy steak, a light snack, or a friendly environment to unwind with a drink while perusing the paper. Whether you crave a Sunday Roast, Fish and Chips, Creamy Garlic Mushrooms, or a Steak and Ale Pie, The Fountain Inn has you covered with highly recommended dishes. They eagerly await the opportunity to extend a warm welcome to you.
