The Hobbit Pub is a Tolkien-inspired pub and lives music venue with exposed brick walls and a large terraced garden. At the end of Thomas Lewis Way, the Portswood By-pass, this large multi-level pub sits on the corner and is part of the Bevois Valley Road area that is popular with students. Upstairs there is a pool table, and the back is a wide paved garden. The garden is about two floors below the level of the driveway. All cocktails £2.50 (Wednesday). Free entry before 10:00 pm. Carryout option and outdoor dining options are available.
