ROCKFISH REVIEWS

I've visited Rockfish at various locations, all near the sea or Quay. The food is fresh, and the staff always introduces the day's catch. The set menu offers great value. I especially love their crab dishes—they're delicious.

Very friendly staff and marvellous fish selection. Everything can be made gluten-free. They even have gluten-free vinegar. Also loved the design of the toilets. Further servings of chips are free.

Full marks for real seafood served as it should be. Just stopped here in our way back from Newquay. Tried most of the seafood restaurants there and was disappointed. I'll always stop here on my way south in future. It is in the beautiful Quayside surroundings and is light and modern. We just love it.

Lovely little place with plenty of seafood offerings on a reasonably mixed menu. Charming and friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere with local art pieces for sale on the walls and a nice choice of background music. Beautifully presented food that is as tasty as it looks.

Wonderful spot! Came here for a special occasion, and the service was amazing. The staff was lovely and so accommodating. And the food! Absolutely delicious, every course was a delight. Our party of 5 left all of our plates spotless. Definitely will be back next time I am in the area.

My wife and I went to the Galley for an anniversary meal, except we nearly didn’t as she had forgotten to book, only when we phoned to enquire the time of our sorting did we realise we had forgotten. Fortunately the Galley were able to accommodate us at the time we should have booked, many thanks! The food is simply delicious, with enough on the menu to satisfy meat eaters, vegetarian s or pescatarians. As you can see for the pictures the food is beautifully turned out and tastes amazing. The most amazing part to be honest was the price, three courses for two plus wine and a beer all for £100, would have happily paid twice that for the food.

CRAVE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

We had a fantastic lunch at Crave. The food was exciting and delicious, all made from local and seasonal produce. We had the nduja and samphire mussels, prawn roast, and panzanella. They have great drinks specials Sunday - Friday before 6 and I enjoyed a couple of spicy margaritas. The service was attentive and friendly, and you can tell the staff really care and enjoy their jobs. The terrace has a fabulous view over the river and the bridge. I will definitely be back next time I am in Devon.

This is doing small plates right. Second visit and still more delicious things to try, leaving aside the fresh catch fish and specials board. A lovely afternoon sitting outside at the Exeter Quayside location, with on this occasion bonus live music from duo Conscious Club - good guitar and vocals whether solo or harmonies. Attentive, friendly service. Absolutely will return again this summer, and later to try the winter menu inside. (Apologies for quality of photos… kept forgetting to snap them before tucking in… portions larger than shown!)

Food tasted great and service was really good! Staff were friendly and attentive. Love the atmosphere which has a lovely view of the quay. We had the bavette steak fritz and fried chicken and both tasted good.
