TOP 3 MILL ON THE EXE REVIEWS

All-in-one! We found it very suitable for our needs and everything was just as we needed: easy to reach and to park the car, walking distance from the city center, nice dinner, great drinks a peaceful overnight stay in a newly refurbished room with all comforts and a very good breakfast, I highly recommend Rooms: We slept in one of the rooms facing the river, so quiet. It was brand new and clean. The bed was big and comfortable Food & drinks: Food is classic pub of good quality. The beer is produced by the owners of the Mill and is also available in the rooms. I saw they also have a good choice of wines and spirits.

We came in for an early dinner after spending the day @Crealythemepark and were very pleasantly relieved to have awesome steak with fish and chips for the little one. Fantastic food, lovely staff, very relaxed and warm setting. Highly recommend! Food & drinks: Get the skin on chips, they're amazing!

Great lunch here. Very smart and well run pub. Good quality food, fast and friendly service and, of course, an amazing location. This pub clearly has a very good manager at the moment and it shows.

TOP 3 DOUBLE LOCKS REVIEWS

We had our wedding at the Double Locks and can honestly say that the day was perfect. We were able to book the day before to invite our guests to help set up and meet each other. When we arrived the day after for the wedding reception we brought our guests down on the ferry and this just added something extra for them. The food was amazing, we had a lot of comments on how nice the burgers were for the BBQ option and the buffet platters that came out later flew off the tables as well. Everything about the day was so relaxed and easy for us as the bride and groom, the staff went above and beyond for us and our guests and everything we needed was there. Such a beautiful venue! I would highly recommend for the perfect spring/summer wedding experience.

Has to be one of the best beer gardens anywhere, right beside the Exeter canal. Plenty of seating and tables. They were very busy when we visited, but service was still prompt and polite. Could've sat in the garden for hours. Will definitely be returning.

Always good. Amazing location by the canal, lots of space and seats. A covered gazebo if it's raining. Food has improved a lot recently. Great place to meet up.

TOP 3 THE IMPERIAL REVIEWS

Wow one of the most beautiful Spoons I've seen. The orangery is stunning and could easily be a wedding venue. Usual offerings spoons provides, good price drinks.Everyone seemed very happy including staff who were very friendly and chatty. Toilets made me laugh at how massive they were, complete with L shape sofa. If I was local I'd probably be in a lot Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast and main options.

I popped in to The Imperial for breakfast before catching a train from Saint Davids Station to Weston Super Mare. I only had a traditional breakfast, not a large one, but that was sufficient. Although I was a little surprised as although the traditional breakfast has only 1 slice of toast there were still 2 little packs of butter. I guess that could lead to a lot of wastage.

A nice pub with a massive beer garden. Perfect for sunny days in the summer. I had the best steak I’ve had so far in any pub here. Will definitely be back.
