super authentic thai restaurant. the portions were huge!! however they definitely didn’t compromise on quality for quantity. the food was AMAZING, the pad thai is comparable to the pad thai in bangkok. the green curry was really tasty and so flavorful, same with the bangkok egg fried rice. each portion can comfortably feed two people, maybe even three. the thai tea was also pretty authentic, not too sweet which i liked. service was friendly and quick. overall was a great restaurant that ill definitely be coming back to!

First time here for me after being recommended. Cafeteria style restaurant, water on the table which is great. The food came quickly and was hot, portions big and fresh ingredients, the squid starter was excellent value. You can order 1,2 or 3 chillies heat level, I went for 3 and it was very tasty, I enquired with the waitress and they do go higher, so next time I'll try a 5, and there will be a next time.

Wanted to try somewhere different (for a light dinner) well didn't quite happen as very large portions but reasonably priced, good service, friendly staff and lovely food. Highly recommend

Wonderfully cosy atmosphere and friendly staff eager to help or explain, always serving with a smile. The booking process was easy and we were well accommodated. The food was delicious! So many flavours and the sharer set menu we chose meant we were able to experience a variety of dishes. It included starters all the way up to a fresh Jasmine tea to end the whole evening. Recommended! Dietary restrictions: They ask before taking any orders if there are any allergies etc that they should be aware of and seem to have good labels for things like their use of fish sauce and nuts.

The Thai Orchid has been around for 30 years. I went there for my 21st Birthday and was amazed by the food. The quality has remained consistently good throughout the years, but the last time we went there was a change. It was even better! Now we are treated to incredibly detailed presentation and special dishes too! Possibly the best restaurant in Exeter right now

Beautiful authentic Thai food! Felt like I was back in Thailand. Lovely welcoming staff, will definitely be back! Would recommend the massaman curry and mango sticky rice! Thankyou x

We came here for dinner on Saturday evening. Our server was Charlotte who was lovely. She was very attentive and made sure we always had enough to drink. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are generous.

Food was top tier and atmosphere was great! We had calamari, satay, chicken cashew nut, and chicken with rice. I personally loved the ambient mood lighting though there were some parts that were too dark. Our server izzy was very attentive and pleasant. Would love to come again!

We loved the service so much! Norbert who served us helped to choose from the menu, Timea who showed us our table also was very friendly and smiley. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner too.
