The service was very good. The staff were really polite and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious. The fish and chips were very tasty and the Thai curry was superb. Would definitely eat there again given the chance. It was very busy (understandably due to the quality) so would recommend booking in advance. Oh and the fried halloumi was fantastic. We were all so full at the end but couldn't stop picking food off the plates. Did I mention the Thai fish curry was delicious.

Had a fantastic dinner at Tailend. I came with 13 people and they had us place pre-orders which made it super seamless and enjoyable. I am gluten free and had amazing fish and chips. All of the staff were super well informed and knowledgeable about what I could eat. Everyone really enjoyed their food and we all had a great time!! I worked with Jess for planning the evening and she was so helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Simple straightforward regional fare at great prices. Fish and chips are more than enough to split between a couple. Ask for an extra slaw. It was special. Service was quick and the staff looked happy to be there.

THE SEAFOOD RISTORANTE REVIEWS

This was the culinary highlight of my Scotland golf trip. Service, food, and ambience are top notch. The Hand Cut Tagliatelle pasta is a must. Steamed Day Boat Halibut is another necessary. Never before did I think that I would order an English wine. The Gaborone Chardonnay was incredible.

Lovely dinner with friends at the seafood restaurant! We were given a corner table with the most scenic views ! The seafood was very fresh and love the selection of wine too! Impeccable customer service.

We always love visiting the Seafood restaurant. Food is consistently good. I’ve never had a bad dish. Really high quality seasonal ingredients cooked well. No pretentious drama with foams, essences, dry ice etc. The food doesn’t need that, it speaks for itself. If you haven’t visited before the view is stunning, right on the water. The staff are excellent, they always give 5 star service that is seamless. We always look forward to returning, it’s fast becoming our favourite restaurant.

Popped in during a trip to Anstruther. Lovely restaurant with polite helpful staff. Great view of the harbour. The restaurant is well maintained. The food was so fresh and well presented. I thought the Cullen skink soup was really good. The fish and chips are also superb! Well worth a visit.

We came here as my partner wanted to try a Cullen Skink. As we were up in Scotland to visit his family, he had to google the nearest place that sold it. Lovely little restaurant. Friendly staff. Lovely food. Would definitely eat here again on our next visit to Anstruther.

Genuinely, the best service at any restaurant in the past year or more. Sat down outside, which is often a gamble for good service, but the staff were excellent, recognising our two very hungry wee ones. Kids meals fairly priced, and very good portions. Also had a couple of main dishes from the quick bites menu, and everything was hot, fresh, and very tasty. Would give 5 plus for the service alone. Why can't more eateries be like this, rather than the usual age long wait for mediocre overpriced garbage? The pavement outside is on a slant, so the tables and chairs are too, but we honestly didn't mind sitting in the rare Scottish summer sun for a great meal. Best wishes to the whole team at The Waterfront, as they have a winning recipe for happy customers.
