I mean, you can’t get much closer to farm to table than eating the farm at the barn tables! It was awesome! Great steak, great fries… the sides were pretty killer too! First place I’ve been that had a kids steak… which was also amazing! Great job folks.

Absolutely love this place!!!! Unpretentious with absolutely delicious steaks!! Staff were all really helpful happy and polite. Not going to lie probably the best food on the planet!!! ...... if your smart get someone else to drive and have a pint with your steak!!! For the record the cafe has amazing food too and the larder shop has the most amazing butchery counter.

This place is amazing So quirky- beautiful surroundings - wonderful atmosphere. The staff are amazing and the open fire where your food is cooked is so good and the chefs do such a great job at making sure your meat is cooked to perfection. We had the Tomahawk and Cote de boeuf steaks for sharing - there was more than enough to feed our family of 5 - and the chips and onion rings are the best we have had! We will be back again next time we come to St Andrews.

I am leaving the comment as I finished my dish. It was absolutely delicious (the belly pork that I ordered). We also ordered burgers that were really tasty. We were quite in a rush and we got served quite quickly ! I recommend the meat 100%.

This was the meal I had been hoping for all week. I noticed this restaurant while I was visiting Munch next door for the 5th day on the bounce. It didn't disappoint. The oysters were amazing. The bread and salted butter tasted delish. The steak for 2 with chips and broccoli was exquisite. My daughter had a half lobster for the 1st time ever and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waitress was excellent as was the pace of the experience. 100% recommend this place. For me it was the best fine dining experience in town.

Amazing! Best steak burger I ever had, so tender, juicy and crispy. You have to try it! The mussels in white sauce are absolutely fantastic, make sure you order a spoon to enjoy the sauce unless you prefer to use the shells. The Ayrshire Pork Tomahawk was fab too. Wine selection, service and ambiance was lovely too. This gem deserves 5 stars! Thanks for the love! Hope I can come back.

We went here for dinner after receiving several recommendations and were not disappointed. Our server was superb. He alone was five stars, a true professional. As the food arrived, we continued to be impressed with the quality and presentation. The night we went was relatively quiet, with only four other couples, so it was hard to grade the atmosphere. The room was nice but a little bright for me; however, this didn't stop me from grading this superb restaurant as a 5-star experience, and I would highly advise you to try it for yourself.

This little place had been recommended to me and it did not disappoint. The food was AMAZING with a brilliant selection on the menu and knowledgeable, very helpful staff. I can’t pick one thing that I loved the most. It really was that good. If I absolutely had to find fault in anything at all, it would be that the noise levels do travel but that’s more due too the snug and cosy set up… but that’s part of the character.

Absolutely wonderful from start to finish atmosphere service and ofcourse the tremendous food. Have ate in Michelin star restaurants in Edinburgh and this was faultless in comparison. Would recommend to anyone.
