We have recently had our windows and front door done with emerald and it has been a wonderful experience from the beginning. The man who came to measure up and give us a quote was very polite and didn’t rush us into making a decision. Once agreed the surveyor came to double check the measurements who was also very polite and friendly. I had a call with the installation dates soon after. The fitters were here for three days and have done a wonderful job, Gaz and Matt were very polite, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They were both very good with our 3 year old who wanted to help and asked a lot of questions. Matt gave him little things he could do and answered all his many questions as well as letting him take all the stickers off the window frames. They even patched up some of the rendering where we had removed an old gas heater flue. I would 100% recommend the company to anyone who was looking to have any work done to their house and after an awful experience with another home improvements company we are very pleased it has been a completely different experience.

Emerald Home Improvements have just completed our windows and doors replacement to our bungalow in Chellaston Derby and we couldn’t be happier. From initial consultation through to installation they have been professional throughout! The installation by Steve and Gary was kept clean and tidy at all times. With windows installed only five weeks after order! Very happy with the quality of these windows and doors. I am happy to recommend Emerald Home Improvements to all my friends and family.

Contacted this company for a replacement door on an outbuilding with outdated joinery and a new kitchen window and outbuilding window. James came out and recommended replacing the terrible wood joinery around the wooden door with upvc and was quoted a fair price. The work was carried out to an extremely high standard considering the outbuilding window was an old steel frame window and the outbuilding door and joinery looked about 50 years old! Couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. Will definitely be using again

Just had 3 windows and 2 doors installed by J&B Windows. So pleased with the result. The quality and finish are absolutely fantastic, and they leave the area spotless after each days work. I can’t recommend James and Jordan highly enough.

You can leave your house unlocked, just make sure that the kettle, bog and food are available and Bob's your auntie. Their quality work will forever sell their wares even without advertisement. Soffits ,fascias, windows and doors.

We had our conservatory roof ( originally fitted by DDG) replaced from a glass roof to a “ Warm Roof” All our dealings with DDG were great. Communication was great from the office team to the installation guys, electricians and plasterer. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the warm roof components is excellent. We can now use or conservatory all year round. All rubbish was taken away leaving the site clean and tidy. If you are considering a conservatory or replacement roof I can highly recommend DDG

I got a new composite front door with a number panel above it. From the very first communication they were excellent, they responded to phone calls and emails immediately and kept me up to date at all times. The door was exactly as I ordered and was fitted so cleanly, and when I did point out a minor mistake (I had asked for a thumb turn interior lock instead of a key lock), the fitter immediately went off to pick up the correct fixture, he was back and the thumb turn lock was fitted later that day.

Nick and the rest of the team at DDG could not have been better and we recommend them extremely highly. We had a slightly challenging house renovation which included new windows and doors, Nick understood our requirements and visited multiple times to ensure things were just right. Fitting team were fast, polite and clean. Overall a brilliant experience and will use them again without a doubt!
