I have been meaning to pop to The BakeHouse for a while and it was as comforting and delicious as I had expected! The interior is stunning, set off of a main road it is in a quiet location. We were greeted with a smile and given the option to pick where to sit, which personally I love. The menu was great and all vegan and gluten free options were included on one menu. Food and drinks came out promptly and there was nothing that I could fault at all. The gluten free bread which they toasted was the best I have ever tried! We couldn't leave without trying some of their beautiful sweet treats which are all made in house. Again, they had a great variety of gluten free options. After this mornings visit we can't wait to come back to try lunch and dinner.

We’ve been coming to the Bakehouse for a few years now and always enjoy the lovely cakes, treats and drinks. When it came to our wedding and looking for a wedding cake we knew we had to ask Bakehouse if they could help us out (as this wasn’t something that was advertised) and without hesitation the lovely Sam met with us to discuss our ideas. The Bakehouse team are always so lovely and the cake Sam made for us in her own time was amazing. We had a delicious 4 tier cake (made up of Victoria sponge, chocolate and red velvet) which all guests loved too. 100% would recommend - for a wedding cake or a nice treat in the gardens when the sun is out. Thank you so much.

I’ve done the winter fire pit and camper nights, and popped by for coffee and cake with the kids. Gluten AND dairy free brownie was outstanding, and the vegan shakes are incredible! Hard to find a decent venue that caters for allergies and intolerances. Highly recommend Bake House!

The best and warm welcome. I was in need of something to warm me up as I had been out in the elements. Eve kindly mention all of the options of hot drinks...and suggested the trimmings too. My highlight.. I stood by the door waiting for my bus to arrive whilst I got warmed up by the heating above the door sipping my drink. The staff didn't mind. It's the little things that make customer service great. Thank you xxx.

Thank you to Tony and all his staff at Greggs for providing my buffet on my Big 60 event at Ale House in Chelmsford. Full marks and something for everyone to consider.

Had only 3 minutes till bus left was thinking I’m not going to make it as of the long queue and then another customer comes on and serves me in seconds. Very good service

Fantastic food and the staff are absolutely brilliant they can't do enough for me when I go in. And you must try the split doughnut omg there beautiful.

Me and my 2 children love an egg, bacon and mushroom baguette from here. Staff are very polite and friendly. I highly recommend.
