Had their buffet which is superb and means you can eat as much as you like. This is menu style rather than getting up and serving yourself. They ask for the courses in between eating rather than all in one go which is a great way of doing it.

Went 17 September for my sons birthday. Absolutely brilliant. Food amazing. Staff very polite, efficient and professional and funny. Very clean everywhere .

AMAZING- After reading reviews, had a takeaway first time from here, the food was amazing, large portions everything was so tasty, we ordered chips, even they tasted fantastic, the rice was so much better than any we’ve had before, the chicken balls were amazing, we had a meal for 2 and a single chicken balls a special fried rice, this tasty meal was far superior than any other Chinese ever had. From someone who has tried various takeaways over 50 years, this could easily have been for 3/4 smaller eaters (we had the remainders today for lunch and heated up taste just as good as yesterday. Now my favourite take away go to. We had option B and chicken balls with rice

We have been looking for a decent chinese restaurant and happened to see this restaurant driving. Well all i can say its the best chinese food we have eaten in ages. Staff were polite and welcoming. The ambience is beautiful and again food tasty and very well presented.

Zenxi was a wonderful experience. The ingredients were fresh, the menu provided a good selection for pretty much all requirements. The food was very tasty and well cooked. Staff were all attentive polite and cheerful (a credit to the restaurant! )

I travel and visit many restaurants and have to say this is one of the very best in service and high quality tasty and presented food! Staff can not do enough for you and always very polite professional and friendly in there service!! One of the best! If you've not been you need to go you wont be disappointed

Still the best Chinese restaurant in Chelmsford! We’ve tried many places, but Lantern House remains our favourite year after year. The food is always excellent – real quality you can taste. Even my friend, who dines out regularly, says it’s the best Chinese in the area. Shirley, the owner, is lovely and genuinely committed to keeping her food standards high, often comparing it with well-known restaurants in London.

Got a quick takeaway, food was really great. Hot, fresh and really tasty. Prepared very quickly and resturant inside looks very nice too. Must eat in sometime.

Received a warm welcome on arrival. The restaurant and our sharing dishes were beautifully presented and the food was varied and delicious. Our servers were very attentive and their recommendations were perfect. Needless to say I highly recommend this restaurant ~ we had a very enjoyable evening.
