Went Saturday afternoon for a spot of afternoon lunch .was delighted with the atmosphere and attention to detail in how giggling squid was presented staff were informative and friendly. We started with streetfood sharer for 2 was very nice will have that again then I had slow cooked jungle curry with a side of egg fried rice hot in spice and temperature my partner had cashew nut prawn .perfect size and taste. All in all a very good experience will be back well done to all the great staff

Fantastic menu piping hot food that tastes amazing staff were freindly polite and helpful nice atmosphere well worth the price I highly recommend the Giggling Squid

Absolutely fantastic lunch here. The surroundings were beautiful, the service was fantastic, the food was amazing. 5 star all the way. Loved it here

Lanthong is a hidden gem for authentic Thai food in Chelmsford. The dishes are bursting with flavour. The spicy and the savoury dishes served here … it’s all on point and well balanced out! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The customer service is super, staff are friendly and attentive. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, Lanthong consistently delivers delicious and satisfying meals. Highly recommend!

Ate here tonight and was absolutely blown away. The pad Thai is the best I’ve had in this country and the special fried rice was absolutely incredible. The service was great and the staff were all so lovely. The only thing that would make this the best Thai restaurant to exist would be bigger portions to match tie price of the food as it is a little expensive for the amount of food you get in a dish

Love the classic restaurant feel of asking your coats to put away and hot plates. Delightful food, atmosphere and service. Truly a gem and by far one of best authentic Thai’s we have had in a long time. Can’t wait to come back again and try the other dishes!

Whenever I feel like having hot soup and noodles, this place is my choice. Soup choice is always Tom Yom (chicken/seafood/beef) with noodles or rice. Noodles choice varies. This time it is Pad Thai (chicken/prawns/mixed). Love to have brunch. Freshly prepared. Stomach filling. Satisfying. Very happy experience and highly recommended.

I'm totally surprised! Such an inconspicuous place, cheap and mismatched plates but... what food! Delicious! I go there every day for lunch, tasting everything... The ladies who work there and run this charming restaurant are very nice. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Always love the Thai food here. We eat Thai a lot and this is up there among the best! Very good value too. Last time we ate in and took a separate takeaway home with us!
