Accompanied by my wife, we went in for the bottomless pancakes and hot drinks deals. Two choices of pancake stack, chocolate with ice-cream, or strawberry with syrup, both were absolutely delicious, the strawberry stack not being too sweet and accentuated the flavours, the chocolate pancakes were blissful, light and fluffy with no skimping on the cocoa solids in the sauce or the quality of the ice-cream. The service was friendly and attentive, with kind and dedicated staff. Each hot drink we tried was made with expert precision. A wonderful experience.

Had a great catch up with friends this eve. Food really lovely and reasonably priced. Our waitress was Tiffanie who greeted us with a smile which is always a bonus. Nothing too much trouble. She even suggested an addition to what I had chosen. Good customer service. An asset to your restaurant! Thank you for making us feel welcome. Well done Tiffanie :)

George served us today. He was attentive, gave us suggestions and alternatives to cater to my little daughter. Definitely happy we had brunch at Bills this Sunday. Thank you for the great service again.

Ordered food for collection, and requested to remove an item of food from my meal. The person who answered the phone was very kind and explained the process and food was ready for collection very quickly. There was a humungous portion of food, which was good quality although a little dry, but very happy with the overall order.

Brilliant experience. My son is Autistic so I had to ask to be moved from a table by the door as it was freaking him out ... the lady on the reception desk did this with no hesitation. Our server (Lizzie) was rushed off her feet but nothing was too much trouble and she served us (and others!) With a cheery smile.

Absolute treasure of a restaurant hidden on the edge of Chelmsford. On arrival you receive a warm welcoming, drinks menu is outstanding the wines are well sourced. The food outstanding all locally sourced and super fresh. Very responsibly priced given the quality of your experience. The restaurant is highly designed in keeping with the original building. Will most definitely be back. We had lobster, risotto and the meso cauliflower. Excellent cheese board it was gone before I could get a photo.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant - amazing service and even better food. Not too terribly expensive. The owners of the restaurant even stopped by to say hello and make sure we were content. The absolute best place to eat in Essex. Dietary restrictions: Allergen friendly menu available and clearly labeled.

This place is amazing, food is delicious and freshly cooked, atmosphere & views are excellent. 10/10 for the staff and there hard work. A hidden gem in the countryside. You need to try.
