Rim Jhim Spice was recommended to us.. and boy we were not disappointed. We were greated very warmly, showed us to our table. Drinks and poppadoms ordered and received promptly. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. . Food was one of the best Indians we have had. It was so tasty. Great portion sizes. Not the cheapest but for great quality food you have to pay a justified price. Cannot wait to return in the very near future.

What a great place. 5 of us when for a curry. My first time there and not the last.the food was amazing,tasty and hot. The staff were first class especially the man that owns it. After dinner he brought us over brandy and white rum. Check this place out you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant lunch option on a Sunday! We had the buffet food! It was warm and tasty with great options (even though my plates look basic ahah!). The staff are welcoming and always go above and beyond.

Food was some of the best I have ever had, nothing spectacularly different than other Indians but everything done right. Service was top notch, highlight of the meal. Our waitress and the manager were so kind and welcoming they made our night that extra bit special. Would strongly recommend.

First time coming here. The food was great. Ordered a bunch of stuff to try but the bill came down to only 13.62 pp. Service was also splendid. Highly recommended. Will visit again for sure.

Lipika was very kind and sweet. She is very attentive and made us feel so at home. Would recommend this place to eat, all of the staff would were very commendable.

We really enjoyed our time at Kaveri. The food was delicious and portion size was great. We tried the Lauki Jhinga (Tiger Prawns) and Lamb Ceylon Chili Garlic. The Prawns were perfect. The staff recommended Kaveri Nadan Chicken for starter and we were not disappointed. Sowaiyan and Macy were incredibly knowledgeable, personal yet professional. Would absolutely recommend as we will be returning.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here—hands down the best South Indian food I’ve had in the UK (in my experience). The presentation was spot on, the portion sizes were generous, and every dish was bursting with flavour. We had the Coconut Mutton Fry starter, Lamb Biryani, Mutton Kothu Parotta, and Thengapaal Tharavu (duck curry), followed by the Rasmalai Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Had a fantastic experience at Kaveri in Colchester! The food looked incredible and tasted amazing from the tender lamb shank to the juicy tandoori dishes everything was full of flavor. The presentation was beautiful, the staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely. I’ll surely be visiting again definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Colchester.
