WAGAMAMA COLCHESTER REVIEWS

An absolutely wonderful experience in Colchester Wagamama yesterday lunch time. The service from Ella was exceptional and the food was made with love, the dishes were tasty, bold & flavoursome and cooked to perfection. I took my friend in who has never had the pleasure of trying Wagamama and she is completely converted. She had the classic Katsu Curry and I had the Coconut Kare with firecracker Rice and we shared chicken Yakatori's for a side dish - it was so yummy!!!! You can tell the restaurant is run efficiently as the food was super speedy and satisfied our hungry bellies at lunch time. 5 star experience. The picture doesn't even do the food justice as we were eager to tuck in. Thank you for a gorgeous meal, we will be back.

We stopped in here on an unbooked Saturday evening looking for somewhere to have a light dinner. Seated quickly and order taken within a few minutes. Great food. The vegan k-dogs were delicious and crunchy. Definitely recommend these. The bang bang cauliflower did not disappoint, smokey, sweet, and packed a serious punch. The yakitori skewers were sweet, sticky and delicious.

My daughter has a severe peanut allergy and she is very nervous eating out because of it. The staff here were really helpful explaining that they are a nut free restaurant, her food was prepared and cooked separately, and every precaution was taken to keep my daughter safe. Thank you for making lunch with my daughter a really enjoyable experience. She can't wait to come back.

So, I have eaten a lot of sushi in my years, and this has to be by far the best. It was mouth-watering, tasty, and excellent-priced. I couldn’t recommend this enough. I ate there this afternoon, and it wasn’t busy, but the standard of service and food did not falter. I’m so impressed. The Lion King Maki was a hit. Ordered 2. See picture.

Great quality food and portion size. The waiters were friendly and quick to attend. I had a bento box which also comes with miso soup. I had to confirm the vegan options but there were a few labelled vegetarian that are vegan friendly.

I went for lunch here with a friend today. The food came quickly and was delicious. The sashimi I ordered was expertly cut and looked and tasted super fresh. All the dishes we chose were well cooked and yummy. The staff member who served us was great. Can’t wait for my next visit, highly recommended.

Lipika greeted us on arrival and was wonderful. She is extremely polite and knowledgeable on the food. Had a great conversation regarding where she is from and the food. The food is amazing, very tasty. One of the best sushi I've had. Will definitely be returning.

Took my two boys here, best sushi they’ve had! Clean place, nice music, friendly waiters. You can see them cooking and rolling, boys thought this was great :) Will come back soon. Kid-friendliness: Portion size of 5 - 8 pieces good for kids. Great Japanese kids drinks.

First time at Sushi Co, and had an amazing experience! The food was made on time and very fresh. The service was good. It was not too busy that evening so was really nice and quiet. Loved the background music too.
