SCOTT'S REVIEWS
The service here was great. I got in right before lunch time and they were able to accommodate me at the bar which is perfect for dining alone or as a couple. The bartender was always attentive and gave me great food and wine recommendations which paired perfectly. The bisque delicious and warm, which was perfect for the cold weather. I had the special of the day which was cod and it was fresh, with crisp skin and a delicious sauce that complemented the whole dish.
One of my favourite restaurants in London! A place of pure sophistication, old school class and elegance. The food is divine, the ambiance is chic, and the service is top-notch. A must-visit for anyone who wants a taste of luxury in the heart of Mayfair.
Went there for fiances birthday, we had the seafood platter for two as well as the octopus carpaccio and wow! Food was wonderful, perfectly cooked, and the portion size was amazing! I have allergies and they were fully accommodating for me, and to top it off when we had dessert they had written happy birthday with my fiance's name on the plate for her.

J SHEEKEY REVIEWS
If you like fish, you'll love J Sheekey. Food quality is superb albeit a bit pricey, but where isn't these post pandemic days in London. Restaurant was established in 1896 and its probably only been refitted once or twice since then. It has an old school charm about that would be hard to replicate. You immediately feel cosy and relaxed as 100's of black and white photos of the stars of yesteryear gaze down upon you. It's certainly an experience.
Some restaurants are just class, have always been classy and hopefully will always be classy. J Sheekey is one such establishment and always delivers in terms of food quality and service. On this visit I tried the Galician octopus for starters which was really good and reminded me of dining alfresco on the Mediterranean. For my main I chose the lobster thermidor and fries which had a great sauce and really hit the spot. I finished with a double expresso and as always really enjoyed the experience. Yes this place is a bit expensive but IMHO it is well worth it.
Always on my London hit list while in town. Food is delicious, the service of high standard. I was sat behind the hostess in the small no man’s land and I do much prefer to be in the main dining room action, which was more my fault for not booking on a busy Friday lunch. I’d been at The Ivy day before and I think JS fish and chips is much better! Controversial :) But try them both, both iconic.

BENTLEY'S OYSTER BAR & GRILL REVIEWS
My husband and I had an amazing date here during our quick trip to London. The food was very delicious. I really enjoyed the garlic baked oysters and the fish & chips. I’ve had plenty of fish & chips from plenty of restaurants but this by far was the best one I’ve ever had. The flavor was on point, it was seasoned well, and the crisp was the best part. The portions are pretty size-able, so expect to take some home with you lol. The ambiance was really nice (very quaint with old charm, tucked away from the busy streets) and the staff was very friendly and informative (especially when explaining all the oyster varieties). I would definitely come back again.
Just ran into this place while walking around, didn't expect it to be a fine dining place. Was pleasant surprised by the food quality and service. I was alone so did not get to savour most of its best stuff, but the oysters and fish & chips are to die for. Highly recommended.
My friend and I went to Bentley’s this Saturday morning for their oyster masterclass and let me tell you, it was outstanding. For the reasonable price we paid, we received twice over the value. Not only were the oysters fresh and delicious, each one unique and fun, but the staff was outstanding. They were friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and generous with their time, attention and wine pours. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a fun and tasty way to start off your Saturday. Thank you Luigi and Greby for a fantastic experience!
