Wonderful spot just off the heart of London, walking distance from many popular spots. Ideal location for it some seriously good food and coffee, great for soaking up some sun and watching the city of London come to life in the mornings. We got there danish sausage roll, omelette and bacon bagel and espressos. Definitely recommend a visit here.

We had the kindest and most helpful service from Ilha at Ole & Steen Lagkagehuset. He treated my children so kindly and made some perfect recommendations and went above and beyond to offer help. We felt so welcome here and the pastries were delicious. Thank you Ilhan.

The only bakery in Soho where the cakes are cooked daily on the premises. The window is just amazing and its nigh on impossible to not give in to temptation. Its a real Soho institution and now one of the few places that still retains that old Soho feel amongst the infiltration of the chain restaurants that are dull and sterile in comparison. To sit with a lovely pot of tea and a delicious cake with friends here is a real treat. I've been coming here for nearly 30 yrs and hope to do so for a long time to come.

Excellent! Came across Maison Bertaux through a Google search and based on the good reviews, I decided to visit. It was so good that I went back again - beyond my expectations. Not like the mass produced chain cakes. Their cakes were absolutely amazing in texture and taste. It paired perfectly with the loose tea!

Cute old-fashioned bakery, the owner was very nice and welcoming. They are popular for their scones, which are delicious. They also offer interesting selection of cakes and other baked goods which I look forward to try on my next visit.

The street it’s located on, along with the overall vibe and style of the place, was really charming. The coffee was excellent. The baked goods we tried were tasty, though the savory ones we chose were a bit too oily for our liking. As for the sweet option, it was nice, but we would have preferred it without the chocolate sauce. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with a cozy atmosphere, definitely worth a visit.

I WANT TO GIVE FORTITUDE 10000 STARS!!! My fav bakery in town. Always come for the feta & spinach. Other recommendation is the almond croissant! Better to come before 11. The coffee is also amazing. Vanilla latte with oat milk.

Ordered the famous beignet. The day i went had Pistachio raspberry version. I would have loved to try without them, but it was still good. The vanilla cream was smooth. Definitely worth a try as a dessert. They are fresh and i guess thats the hype behind it. I felt £6.5 was a bit on the higher end but nonetheless worth the shot.
