J Sheekey has been serving the finest fish and shellfish for over 125 years. Josef Sheekey was a seafood stall holder who opened an oyster bar on St Martin’s Court in 1896. The restaurant was restored to its former glory in 1998, and its four inter-connecting rooms, hung with original pictures of actors from throughout the 20th century, reflect its central position in the theatre world. You can try their delicious Devonshire chicken, char-grilled Bannockburn ribeye steak, grilled lobster or thermidor, and fried fillet of haddock. J Sheekey offers dine-in and table reservations.

2025 Update: The restaurant offers delicious seasonal seafood dishes as well as an extensive selection of wine and Champagne. Gift cards are valid for 12 months.
