Founder's Arms is a glass-fronted pub with a spacious, exciting patio overlooking the River Thames and St Paul's. They offer excellent British seasonal food and excellent brews and wines. They are the perfect meeting spot for catch-ups with mates or meetings with partners travelling from different regions of the town. You can book some of their tables on the terrace for brunch on Fridays through Sundays. They offer both a la carte and set menus, using locally sourced British produce, they know they have something that will delight your taste buds. Their Head Chef Béla can cater to both little, private gatherings and large parties and functions, for up to 45 guests. Their resident bar staffs will be certain to keep you watered (or wined!) and the gathering in full swing. Waxy O’Connor’s is an Irish-themed pub with daily live music, bar food and rugby and hurling on the big screen. They have a friendly team, traditional homemade meals and a wide range of Irish whiskeys and beers. They feature three large screens for all major sporting events, including GAA, Rugby and soccer. Waxy’s have a variety of spaces available to reserve for groups from 15 to 130 people including two private bars available for the booking. You could even choose the entire venue exclusively as they can hold up to 700 guests. Waxy’s offer set menus and buffet choices and their usual bar menu. Their Cottage Bar is ideal for parties; it is a large and private space with doors on either side of the pub. Savour their Woodwork, 10’s Across the Boar, Rare Auld Times, Teeling, and Bushmill.

At Anchor Bankside, Guests can find the niches and crevices whilst watching the world go by over a pint of excellently maintained cask ale. You can quench your cravings with ales from St. Austell, Adnams and Greene King, and bottled brews from Europe and beyond, and cocktails by the pitcher, wines, winter Pimm’s and sangria.
