“Norfolk Street Bakery is an independent bakery. Adilia Frazao is the owner of the bakery. Her traditional methods and honest ingredients quickly made Norfolk Street Bakery a local favourite. FITZBILLIES REVIEWS

Of my 3 mornings in Cambridge, I had breakfast here on 2 of them. Once I saw their scones through the window while walking the city on my first day, I decided to stop in the next morning. Each day, I had a delicious sultana scone (with clotted cream the first time and jam each time) with English breakfast tea. I added peanut butter I bought from a grocery store. I had friendly service. I liked the vibe. Love the look of all of the locations. Great, all around.

We have to visit for the famous Chelsea buns. It was really good. All the drinks were good as well. The service was very good and the staffs were all friendly. We tried the special menu of the day which is the Chelsea bun French toast, and it was delicious. They also have a takeaway only shop next door.

Bit of history here with Fitzbillies serving for a long time. Personally I like the atmosphere and food was yummy. Prices were reasonable but wont say that for afternoon tea's which is upwards of £25/person.

If you like excellent cakes with very good coffee, this is definitely on the list of great places in Cambridge. Especially vanilla custard filled cakes.. There is a bakery retail as you enter, with small seating area in a room at the back, to eat in. From the wall pictures and style of cakes, there is a Portuguese influence, that's why these cakes are delicious.

A trip to/from Cambridge train station should always include calling into the Norfolk Street Bakery. The treats on offer are among the best available in the city. Drop in for a snack, brunch or delicious treat, choose from a range of freshly baked bread or take out with coffee, you won't be disappointed with the food quality, friendly service and value of this place.

Went for a solo trip to Cambridge and luckily passed by this lovely bakery! Had to stop and take picture then got myself some egg tart and it was so so so good! Perfect for a very breezy and cold weather partnered with my morning mocha! And the presentation, omg!

MAISON CLEMENT REVIEWS

Oh my goodness! The best pastry I've had in ages, and I've had some good ones. We had the mirabelle plum tart and a chocolate almond croissant. They were both so beautifully buttery and crisp and brilliant flavours - sharp plum and smoky bitter dark creamy chocolate. They sliced the artisan loaf for us which was handy as we're heading out to a camp site. The coffees were really solid, though not as exceptional as the pastries. The service was lovely and we didn't have to queue despite it being around lunch time. Superb little place. Will return if ever in Cambridge. Devoured everything too quickly to take pics. They do free oat milk too rather than charging extra. All good.

A very popular patisserie in Cambridge. The artisan baguette is among the best I’ve had in the UK. The selection of cakes, breads and croissants is varied. I would advise visiting early as there was a queue and the cakes we particularly had our eyes on sold out as we reached the counter. Everything we bought however was excellent and the staff passionate and friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

We nipped in to Maison Clement for a couple of pastries for breakfast and a coffee. We've loved coming to this branch and the Newnham branch for a while and always enjoy what we order. The range of sweets on offer is always enticing and they never disappoint, but we haven't had a chance to try the savouries or filled sandwiches so that's on our list for next time!
