“Umay Cake is awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 by Cambridge City Council. Ceyda Gevher is the cake artist and home baker of the cake shop. She worked at the Istanbul Stock Exchange for 12 years before deciding to follow her dreams of becoming a cake chef. Ceyda trained with some of the best master cake chefs in Turkey. After running her own cake business for four years, she moved to Cambridge with her husband and their beloved daughter, Umay. The best and the most delicious and gorgeous cake ever! I have had my birthday cake made here, absolutely amazing. Was worried if it wouldn’t turn out how I imagined it to but… I was speechless, it looked WAY better than I expected! I love it Not only do they have delicious cakes but also pastries, milkshakes, cookies, and more! Amazing service and experience So thankful Definitely recommend!

Delicious desserts to go. I got the Red Velvet and Pistachio cake desserts. Fresh, great flavour and beautiful presentation. Friendly staff and efficient service. I travelled quite 150 miles to visit Cambridge and it was nice to have a pleasant treat for my journey back.

The most beautiful made to order cake for my child’s birthday! Service was exactly what we wanted, very fair price and absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend them enough for birthday cakes! Also truly enjoy walking in for an afternoon treat- they always have something amazing!

We ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday. From the beginning, till the delivery, Umay Cake was in touch with me, informed me all the stages. Asked me the details about ingredients and after all, the result was amazing. My daughter fell in love with her the two tier cake, all the detailed icing and the figures on it and our guests also gave us very good feedback about the cake's itself and its taste. I can not recommend more, if you are looking for a creative, tasty cake for your occasions. I will definitely work with Umay Cake again.

Ceyda made us a beautiful dinosaur cake with amazing attention to detail ! She carefully listened to the design I wanted and perfected it. It tasted really good - not too sweet and good quality ingredients. Will definitely come back again for any future cakes I need :)

I bought my daughter’s birthday cake from here and some cupcakes. They didn’t only look amazing but they were super tasty and delicious. Will definitely be ordering more from here!

I recently visited Cup Cake on Mill Road and had a lovely experience. The cupcakes were beautifully decorated and tasted fresh. I especially enjoyed the Red Velvet—it was moist with just the right amount of sweetness. The shop itself has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy a treat with friends.The staff were friendly and attentive, though the service was a bit slow during my visit, likely due to the weekend rush. Overall, a great little place for cupcake lovers in Cambridge. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavours!

Very tasty cakes, staff behaviour so friendly and warm , they did customization as much they can and as i wanted they made it , very timely service , pricing very reasonable , ingredients used very nice overall highly recommended.

Really easy to come in and get a cake! Different decorations and choices of flavours and bases available. Good customer service too, very patient while I make choices. Would definitely come back.
