THE EAGLE REVIEWS
One of the oldest Pubs in Cambridge, dating back to 1667. When going there, you can feel history at every corner of the Pub. There is the RAF Bar, where pilots during WW2 had their last beer, before flying/dying over the skies of Europe. The bar is now decorated with lots of aviation memorabilia. But the Eale Pub is also the very place, where Crick and Watson have announced the discovery of the DNA structure! There is also the ghost in the upper chamber of the Pub, which can move freely, since one of the windows is always open for more than 200 years! There is a huge range of beers offered and food. Food however is not the reason to come here - it's the living history in this very special place - love it!
The RAF bar! Very historic. Nice outdoor seating. Really good food. Central location. Some good veggie options.
Today we have visited this bar and we do every single time we come to visit Cambridge. It is great place for the afternoon drink, especially in their garden. Beer great and cold. The waiter was amazing even it was so busy at the time we been. We spilled a coke onto our food while he was present because of silly accident and he kindly changed it for us regards it was our fault. Definately will come back again

THE CAMBRIDGE BREW HOUSE REVIEWS
Excellent value for money. This pub brews its own beer and offers some great hot meals to boot. The beef roast dinner was very solid, whereas the sausage and mash was a definite reason to come back. Stellar mashed potato.
Very airy brew pub hidden a couple of minutes walk from the main drag. Pint of their bitter at 3.8%. Very good. Bi fold doors opened up to let fresh air in. Table football as well...was good at this 40 years ago. Very relaxing listening to the music. Casta and Jorvic like it.
Great place with wonderful atmosphere. . Local beer is excellent, and I really liked the food, as someone not very familiar with British cuisine. Service was very attentive. Might get crowded so you should order a place in advance.

PINT SHOP REVIEWS
Excellent Sunday roast; pretty good value too especially if going for multiple courses (£26 for 2, £30 for 3). Extensive ale/lager selection but only the one bitter on the list so more catered for the craftier type of drinker. Nice atmosphere, fast service and friendly staff.
Tucked away, the Pint Shop offers a delightful retreat to sip on a pint in their serene garden setting. The star attraction? Their top-notch scotch egg. And for those craving a side of indulgence, the dirty fries stand as the epitome of guilty pleasures.
Everythings fantastic. The kind of gastropub I’d like to hang around. Good selection of beer and knowledgeable staff help me a lot with that. Everything on the charcuterie board are nice, scotch eggs are tasty, croquettes are yummy. Now the mains, pork belly is the killer, but that deep fried sea bream(it was the day’s special) was astronomical… life changing kind of fish you’ll need. My new favourite in Cambridge.
