“2025 Update: Fin Boys offers an immersive dining experience where guests can sit by the pass and chat with the chefs about the day’s fresh catch. Founded by Jay Scrimshaw and Richard Stokes, the restaurant serves fish caught that very day. You can enjoy an à la carte lunch from Wednesday to Saturday, and dinner from Tuesday to Thursday. They also feature a set menu dinner available on Friday and Saturday nights. Fin Boys also hosts special wine and dinner nights on the first Wednesday of each month, often in collaboration with a wine supplier or ambassador, creating an informal evening filled with delightful food and drink. Keep an eye on events at The GOG, where they have a regular residency on Saturdays and Sundays. For the festive season, they are offering a Fin Boys festive hamper filled with delicious treats, as well as their sea trout wellington and oysters. Gift vouchers are available for purchase and delivery.”

My husband and I recently booked dinner at this restaurant and we were very impressed by the quality of the food. It was the first day of their new menu. I had the Iberico Pork from Salamanca and my husband had the Seafood Rice with Wild Cornish Monkfish. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I am already looking forward to our next visit.

The food is very immaculate. The pork chop is brilliant, thank you for the chef for cooking it perfectly. Also, all the starter selections are well-curated. My favorite is the croquet, a must to try. We had the pork chop as our main course, very delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and posh at the same time. Service is five-star.

Our Saturday night dinner at this Spanish-style restaurant was fantastic. The tapas dishes were superb, better than most places, and reasonably priced for the quality. The wine list and cocktails were impressive, and the food from start to finish was impeccable. Our waitress was very attentive, and the manager, added a special touch by offering us complimentary dessert and drinks.

We had a First Class taster menu tonight. Every course was absolutely delicious. Fresh, interesting courses to remember. The sourdough crumpet with black butter, prawn toast and lobster bisque were stand out but every course was prepared with care and consideration. The fish courses were cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The staff were wonderful and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. One of the best taster menus we've had in a long time and would definitely return. You absolutely won't be disappointed.

We went there for a birthday and did the tasting menu. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was cosy and the food and drink selection was immaculate. One of the best fish restaurants I've eaten at in a long time.

First time at Fin Boys and we had booked in for the tasting menu. Everything was so fresh and beautifully presented. Each course was absolutely delicious with incredible flavours including one’s that I had never heard of before! Lovely atmosphere and very friendly, happy staff. What an amazing experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the steak, lobster, fries and broccoli. Everything was cooked perfectly. The sauces that come with the steak were all really flavourful, especially the chimichurri. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous too. Service was flawless, we felt really well looked after. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect food, perfect atmosphere, perfect service! I suggest fish and chips since it’s the dish I ordered and the sticky toffee pudding. Delicious.

Highly, highly recommend! People here are so nice, and the food is quite amazing! Ha is really helpful and friendly? I love this place.
