FLAT WHITE KITCHEN REVIEWS

The wait can be quite long, as the place isn't very big and very popular, but I can assure you it's well worth it. The pancakes were delicious, and the flat white is one of the best I've had in the UK, on par with Caravan in London. If you don't have the time, just grab a flat white take away, it's well worth it.

This lovely cafe in the heart of the Durham old town was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. We had to queue for our table as they don’t take bookings but the wait was worth it. The staff looked after us really well and service was speedy and enthusiastic, would definitely return to sample more of the menu.

Fantastic food, one of the best places to eat in the north east. Can get busy so be willing to queue in peak times.

Outstanding! We called in based upon a friend’s recommendation - he’s a local - for lunch with the dog and we were not disappointed; even the dog got a sausage to enjoy. Great setting and surroundings, wonderful staff, and excellent food (quality and quantity). Highly recommended if you in the vicinity; we’ll definitely return as soon as we’re here again.

great food and friendly staff. in a great location with lovely view of the river! chips were 10/10, and it’s dog friendly too :) a bit loud just because it was so busy but that was expected. had a lovely time here and would come back next time i’m in durham!

A very cozy and homy restaurant by the river. We enjoyed the English full breakfast set, the pancakes and egg Benedict. The pancakes came in generous portion (we struggled to finish!) The restaurant was dog friendly as well!

Lovely food, nice down to earth place and staff. Great for those needing alternative foods... very accommodating to any reasonable requests! Toilet clean and spacious - suitable for disabled access. Ramp also available for those in a wheelchair - just ask. Nice and spacious cafe. The music, when I was there, had a nice vibe. Love the new building and decor.

Gorgeous cafe. Been on many occasions and is our go to when out in Durham for either breakfast or lunch. Great service and lovely food. Some of the best pancakes I've ever tasted! Can get extremely busy and tables are sat close together. But, shows how great the food and service is if people are willing to queue and wait for tables.

Lovely hidden cafe in the centre of Durham. The food was very good. It is a great place to visit if you’re looking for somewhere for a coffee or breakfast. I would definitely recommend trying it out!
