The whole party with me expressed what a fabulous meal they had at every stage - starter, main ourselves & dessert. We experienced the pork, chicken & beef in the mains & everyone expressed how perfectly cooked & tasty their plate of food was (Sunday lunch). Outstanding chocolate mousse, ice cream (mint, pistachio flavours particularly flavoursome). Service worked perfectly for us but some may have found the gaps a touch too long. Seating very comfortable and architecture fantastic. Waiting staff were very smart & well dressed. Their interactions were very professional buy not 'stuffy/snobbish which we appreciated. The selection & training of the staff is excellent. We had the most amazing get together.

Lovely room and probably the best Sunday lunch in Durham. Pork, chicken and beef were really tasty, as was stuffing, potatoes, yorkshire pud, carrots, peas and cauliflower cheese. Great service too.

Went here for afternoon tea, the dining room was quite empty when we arrived but the service was spot on and quick. They confirmed the dietary requirements and bought out coffee, which was refillable then the separate gluten-free and normal afternoon tea. The food was lovely, but I would have preferred at least one more savoury and/or one less cake as it got very sickly towards the end. The restaurant itself was magnificent the decor, stained glass windows etc were very impressive.

We went for breakfast with the grinch this morning, and it was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place, even on a normal day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. John the manager is great, nothing is a problem, all the food on the breakfast is amazing and unlimited coffee, orange juice and pancakes with chocolate (our 7 year old loved it). Nice and friendly. Clean pub, even when it's busy, they keep it clean. Staff never stop. Keep up the great work.

Went here for our teas last Friday. The food and drinks were fabulous, especially the sirloin steak. The quality of the sirloin steak was the best I've had and cooked to perfection. We were served by Craig who was very friendly and down to earth and made us all feel very comfortable. We will certainly return for food and drinks.

Great experience and well worth the money! Ordered the lunch set. Starter I got the broccoli soup (soup of the day) and it was alright. However, the sirloin steak was excellent for the price paid(~£11-£12 for a 2-course lunch set)! Chips are delicious as well. Seating area is very comfy. Overall recommended.

Amazing time here today, the staff are so friendly and helpful, will do anything for you. So much food selection and all of it is amazing, didn't come across anything I didn't like. Beautifully cooked steak. So many complimentary additions to the meal too I was completely blown away by how much is offered. First time experiencing this and not disappointed at all would highly recommend.

This was my first visit of a Rodizio serving restaurant. This is definitely an experience i will not forget. The quality of meat is amazing and the service team is frequently offering different kind of meat. The desert was also super tasteful.

Wow…one of the nicest meal experiences I’ve had in a long while. The meat is all so nice, great variety and all seasoned/marinated/cooked to perfection. Various cuts of steak, lamb, chicken, and chorizo sausage. Chips served to the table too along with a type of cheesy bread. The salad bar is premium too, very fresh and great choice, a selection of hot food at the salad bar too. Then we had dessert…both desserts on par with the main, service was fantastic too. Genuinely couldn’t fault the experience in any way. Highly recommend.
