“Monsieur Crepe Cafe was inspired by the creperies and continental cafes. The owners visited on their trips to France. After buying a crepe plate in Normandy and experimenting at their local market with flour and Nutella, Monsieur Crepe was born. For 6 years, they brought authentic French crepes to markets and events in the North East. In 2016, they opened their cafe in High Heaton, serving crepes, fresh sandwiches, salads, and pancake stacks, along with great coffee and local produce, in a relaxed French-style setting. First time coming here, staff rushed off their feet, however very attentive and friendly. Food was so good, poached eggs were a bit over done and I needed extra hollandaise sauce however hot, good quality and really tasty, partner loved the business breakfast which was huge, and drinks were lovely, great atmosphere and very clean nice environment, will be back.

Great prompt service. Food cooked perfectly- Salmon Omelette was delicious and really really filling! Peach tea nice and refreshing. Was able to just chill and relax without being pestered by staff...waitress both were lovely and attentive. Highly recommended.

A gem of a place! Always busy but don’t let a short wait put you off. Huge menu with something for everyone! The Business (full English with extras) is enough to feed 3! Fantastic value and super tasty. Coffee’s pretty good too.

Excellent food at reasonable prices meant QI was great value for money. I personally appreciated the super fast service meaning we could have our lunch & dessert on a tight schedule with minimal wait time, will be back next time in Newcastle, strong recommend.

It's probably the best cafe in Newcastle. Nestled underneath the Tyne Bridge Quay Ingredient is aptly named, as each one was! Well presented and perfectly crafted, this was a brunch to saver.

Top marks on their eggs Benedict! Super friendly and helpful service, food is great, coffee is great. Well worth a visit for breakfast or lunch.

What an amazing hidden gem! I absolutely love little finds like this. My best friend recommended this place and I think it’s safe to say it was one of the best recommendations! The menu is absolutely massive with such a huge variation of drinks and dishes to choose from, you are completely spoilt for choice! I ordered the Eggs Florentine in a crepe with smoked salmon, something I’ve never had nor seen anywhere else but it was incredibly delicious and made to perfection! (The only constructive criticism I would give is, please use bigger plates!) I would highly highly recommend this wonderful cafe, you will not be disappointed.

I visited today with my nephew who is one. Despite it being very busy the staff were very welcoming and chatted to us both. We left the table and floor in a bit of a mess after my nephew had scrambled egg. The staff were lovely about the mess and very kind. Our favourite place to eat and will definitely be back!

The best place for breakfast/brunch in Newcastle. I love their eggs benedict with halloumi which I tried at many different places as well but Monsieur just does it best. The place feels very cosy and every member of staff is very welcoming and nice. Will be back for many many more times!
