“Pani's Cafe is an informal, family-run cafe-restaurant that serves homemade Italian food and Sardinian specialities. Pani's started in January 1995, and it was the first Italian-style cafe in the Newcastle region. The restaurant has been serving traditional Sardinian foods and making interesting Sardinian-themed dishes. The eatery offers you the chance to experience Italian home-cooked food and to savour an authentic Italian coffee in its friendly environment. You can find a different menu for day and night, and an updated, continuously special board. Had a lovely experience!! Definitely book a table here as was super busy, did visit on a Saturday night. Service was super quick with staff being so helpful with suggestions. The food was amazing and so well priced! Can’t wait to come back for more food.

Large Italian restaurant in the centre of Newcastle in a beautiful historic building. Food was good and well priced. My caprese salad was delicious, my vegetarian pizza had a nice crusty base and adequate topping. Hubby enjoyed his starter of scallops. Desserts were enjoyed by our friends who said they were very good. Fast, professional service. Good atmosphere.

This is a top notch Italian, I must say. First of all, the restaurant is situated in a beautiful Victorian building with wonderful architecture. The food was the best bit as it tasted absolutely amazing.10/10! Spot on.

We visit regularly when in Newcastle and have always enjoyed the food, lovely staff too. The chicken kiev pizza is perfect if you're serious garlic lovers like us! The portion sizes are huge Vegetarian options: Large menu so decent number of vegetarian options which were all labelled.

Amazing Italian food, and wide range of varieties available. They also cater for vegetarian and gluten free dietary restrictions. I personally enjoy their thin crust pizza.

Favourite place to eat in Newcastle! Always a great atmosphere, amazing food at a good price and friendly servers! Would recommend the crab and prawn linguine.

Great service. Fresh and authentic food. Must visit this lovely restaurant. A worthwhile experience. The people who work here smile and make your stay an absolute pleasure.
