THE FRENCH QUARTER REVIEWS
Lovely meal with friends. Charcuterie and cheese boards were excellent, also the beef bourgignon. Fish croquettes and ratatouille were very good, the prawns were disappointing as the portion was small (perhaps we picked poorly though). Great relaxed atmosphere, staff very attentive. Would definitely return to try the plats du jour and the wine flights!
First time. Birthday meal as well. The customer service was excellent. The staff knew their food provenance and the menu inside out, as well as what wine went with best with what food. Had snails and frogs legs for the first time. The food tasted incredible and we enjoyed mixing and matching all the different plates. It's an independent family-run business and not part of a chain. When in Newcastle you must try this restaurant. You will miss out on a beautiful experience if you don't. Cannot wait to come back. For two of us with alcohol it came to just over £100 for a really good night, but worth every penny.
Amazing! The olive tapenade and baked camembert both to die for! Main dishes are delicious too, especially the beef bavette, duck in orange sauce and potato dauphinoise. Huge selection of wine! Service is always really good. Can't wait for my next visit!

COTE BRASSERIE NEWCASTLE REVIEWS
Walked in on Friday night and got a table despite being busy. Service was great and quick. Food was excellent, fish stew was outstanding. Crème caramel was lovely. GF menu was the reason we went, food is always excellent.
A fantastic first visit for my partner and me. We were a bit skeptical initially but we were proven wrong every step of the way. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional and in generous proportions. Will definitely be coming back very soon. Cotê was the highlight of our day.
Delicious breakfast on a Monday morning. Service was friendly and efficient. My croque madame was delicious and my partner enjoyed her veggie breakfast. Only issue was that the waiter sat us right in front of the main entrance... Plenty of other tables so was a little unthoughtful. Asked to move tables straight away. Vegetarian options: Veggie sausages very good.

HOTEL DU VIN REVIEWS
Great evening spent with friends at one of the private dining rooms. Luke was our host; he's such a great guy, and we felt welcome. The food was great, and I really appreciated the non alcoholic spirits selection.
Great evening and good service, a large group of people and everything went smoothly.
All three food courses were delicious and beautifully presented. We were looked after by our lovely server Nehal - thank you!
